I'm not saying they need to treat it with "solemn reverence" or even be "experts" at it. But they should know the controls. They should be able to show that game off in a way that makes it look appealing. I said they shortchanged it because if I didn't already love God of War, I would've thought that that just didn't look like a fun game. They sat there and used up most of the time fumbling with controls, making fun of Kratos, and just generally not showing much knowledge of the game at all. It felt like they only picked God of War III because Ryan didn't like Heavy Rain and the other candidate was Sports Champions. "

Man, what a huge year for Giantbomb 2010 was. 
Live shows, optional subscriptions and much, much more, it's finally living up to the full potential we all knew it had!

Man I finished gow3 5 times and this vid made me wanna do it all over again. Such an amazing game.

Win! Vinny Caravella, pullin' a Brad real quick there. It's been such a great year, I only just discovered GB towards the start of the year, so looks like I'll subscribe next year at some point.
 
On a side note, God of War III is the main reason  I wish I had a PS3 as well as my Xbox. Also Heavy Rain, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, among others. Maybe when I have a bit more disposable income I'll sink it into a PS3 and a nice back catalogue.

No surprise, more mindless complaining from the peanut gallery. I can't count how many times I was laughing from their little extended look at God of War 3. Great work on the GOTY stuff as per usual, gents.

That's Giant Bomb, that's how they roll, that's the way we like them. They are all terrible at games, which is just something you have to keep in mind when listening to them on the Bombcast or watching a Quick Look. They keep throwing wrong statements around, they spend 2 hours of TNT dying over and over, they get in all sorts of needless trouble during Endurance Runs, but we endure and manage to love them.  All their trouble in the video could have been solved had they just started from the beginning, but that wouldn't have been in the spirit of the Giant Bomb. "

Had to laugh at all the wrong stuff they were saying in the video.   Hades didn't drop the electric blades, that was Hephaestus.  And Medusa's head?  That's Helios' head.
 
Not at all a very well prepped video and fairly misinformed on a lot of it; and I've only played the game once through and know enough to not make the mistakes that were made.

Hey, Drew used a couple of my photo edits!  I feel all warm and fuzzy.  I made the Ryan as Edward Cullen one and the creepy crown Ryan.  Such a terrifying image.  I made it, and it still freaks me out.
