Yep, the dragons that spawn outside at those specific points only give up a soul the first time. You have to find random dragons or other unique ones for more souls. It happened to me twice and I thought it was bugged but it wasn't.

... yeah I can't watch people play Skyrim.

I really love Skyrim, but it's sad to realize that all the economics stuff Bethesda hyped up before release was just more Molyneux style bullshit. There isn't anything of that in the game. Kill the blacksmith in town, and the shelves around the forge will still be restocked with weapons and ore every 30 days as the town cell resets, and every vendor gets 500-700 gold every day whether or not there is a single living soul in town besides them. Maybe a better comparison would be Oblivion's Radiant AI, which was supposedly so powerful that they had to make it dumber. Somehow I think the mod community would've been able to enable it again if it was true.

Am I the only one who was bored to death of Skyrim after 5 hours?

I am playing on a PC with max setting (i7 and 560ti SLI) locked at 60 frames using a 360 controller.

According to everyone at Giantbomb that is about as great as a gaming experience can be had.

but I cannot play for more that 10 minutes without feeling like I would rather vacuum my car than work on endless string of viking chores.

Anyone else feel like this?

Oh, I finished the main quest, so I'm not asking "is it safe?" I'm just asking "is it entertaining, or even close to as entertaining as just playing Skyrim or watching Greg?"

If there was one video that could make Skyrim look boring, this would be it. Even the dragon fight was looking away while the cool stuff was happening.
