Oh god yes Alex, the Beck levels in Sound Shapes are so fucking good. I need to go play those levels right now. The "Cities" level might be my favourite 10 minutes of gaming this year.

Alex has the one of the most concise, polished and compelling delivery/analysis in the biz. one of the better reviewers out there, like Jeff, Justin McElroy and a funnier version of Arthur Gies.

I just don't understand why someone would enjoy dividing the community so heavily and that is a shame really and shows that their mission is not to make the site better but just get themselves a paycheck at the cost of someone who was their friend. :(

@darpa: Timing didn't work out. I was partially in town to help Jeff with that band reunion thing, and they had to tape the podcast the week before. They did Skype me in for some day five podcast stuff, mainly for GOTY and worst game of the year (of course).

That's a really fucked up way to look at the situation not to mention how far off base you are with the reality of it all. Whatever, think what you want man but it's not cool to blame a loss of a mans job on people who are out to make better content for you and for us. And by the way Rorie lost his job because Whiskey Media was bought by another corp. so if everyone would have stayed they all would have been jobless right now. Yeah, maybe Rorie got the short end of the stick but it wasn't the cause of GB or CBSI or Alex. I'm sure it will work out for him though he's a talented writer and a good on camera "personality" either way I'm sure he holds no animosity towards anyone for it and neither should you.

Yes, people, because Alex really is responsible for corporate decisions on who gets hired and fired. After all, businesses are magical happy fun lands where costs and salaries aren't considered. I mean, it's completely fair to blame Alex, because isn't he the total boss of CBS?

Yeah, I have no idea what you're talking about when you blame Alex for Rories job, how in the hell is that his fault? That doesn't even make sense.

People have to pay bills and the company was done anyway. Alex is not the boss and he does not control over who got what job. If you're mad for Rorie, I agree, he deserved better, but you're directing your anger in the wrong direction.
