Get in the Ring: (01/26/2018)

Anytime I see Get in the Ring, I just envision Triple H yelling the title of the video before starting it.

On Dan and Alex's talk on the Royal Rumble, I haven't followed WWE for quite some time but didn't Roman win the Rumble in Philly 3 years ago and was met with non-stop boos? This was also when The Rock came out to help and he was visibly upset with the Philly fans booing, right? Seems ill-advised for Roman to win in the same venue again 3 years later. I'd be happy with Nakamura winning the Rumble. They could put Cena in the 3-time RR winner club with Stone Cold, but do people want to see a potential battle between him and Brock again? I don't think so.

WWE will probably find a way to mess things up, but I'm hoping the Rumble delivers this year. I honestly didn't know there was a Women's rumble this year until now, but that's pretty awesome!

Wow, Glad i never bought that dreamcast RR game. Seeing the counter stuck at 7 superstars left while 20 more people continue to enter seems kinda broken.

Don't care about wrestling one bit but this was still a really fun watch.

Wrestling is basically anime, right?

The first few minutes justifies this feature's entire existence.

As someone who was hopelessly addicted to Wrestlemania 2000 and never realized that the other Aki games were of the same mold until years later, the little differences always weird me out. Sting having a special entrance, Macho Man getting a voice sample... even the different music in the menus and matches feel strange.

Also, the next installment of this series needs to be them playing through an entire career in an MDickie wrestling game.

If this is wrestling then those TVs need to be on a far more acute angle to the people watching them.
