Man, some serious food for thought concerning the next iteration of hardware. The situation and all its implications didn't really occur to me in full, I'll have to say. Well, at least it's going to be interesting. Plus I'll probably have services like Steam, gog and the like to rely on for a more significant time span either way. So whatever the next Torchlights, FTLs, Warlocks and what have you will be - that'll still be there for a while I hope.

FYI, PXAbstraction (Comic Vine puts it in all lower case for some reason) is short for Parallax Abstraction, a name I came up with in high school cause it sounded weird and different. I've kept it because well, it's weird and different plus it has the benefit of never being in use on the Internet anywhere ever. :) Thanks again, very interesting information you gave.

I hope it's not an insensitive thing to say but it's great to hear that Jeff has lost weight and I hope he continues to do so. I've lost 15 pounds in the last few months through jogging and cycling on an exercise bike (often while watching new Breaking Bad episodes and Quicklooks). It was fucking hard during the first weeks but now I almost need these workouts. Makes you a happier person eventually.

Regarding Jeff's rant at the end about Dota 2, it's worth mentioning that it is still a closed beta. You have to pay upwards of $40 to get into it (to buy a key and in-game items). So yea, you still need keys.
