Why do people hate AT&T? Maybe its because their coverage in california isnt as good as verizon's but I know that here on the east coast all throughout pennsylvania and new york at&t is a million times better for coverage than verizon. I had verizon for years and I could barely get through calls without it dropping because of lack of service. Also with the buyout of Tmobile, at&t will have way way better coverage yet, so idk what the big deal is.

Is it me, or does the enemy at the end of the Halo 4 trailer look like the Death Star?

Good on Jeff for keeping it international "They're also making two football games, one of each".

This was refreshing.

@BLAM_Renegade:  Cause he is.  He has been rapping since the early 80s. If he makes a song for gears of war 3 he needs it to have his old-school flavor. Like this song.

I wish the motion gimmick would just drop dead so we could get on with a fun gimmick instead. (Not 3D!)

For my job I drive anywhere from york, philly, reading, sometimes further into northern pa, new jersey, and occasionally new york to look over job sites. I was with verizon for years and I could barely get through a call without the signal crapping out and there were so many crazy dead spots for no reason at all. My company decided to go with the iphones as soon as they came out and the service has been practically perfect ever since. I really dont know why people are so in love with verizon and decide to shit all over at&t for what seems like no reason. If at&t was really as bad as people act like they are than no one would ever use them as a provider and they'd go out of business. Sprint and T-mobile have been a billion times worse than either at&t or verizon and for some reason no one likes to shit on them as much as at&t. For some reason there is a giant group of people that like to hate on at&t in the same way that people like to hate on apple...which actually probably explains the whole thing.

I just watched this after listening to the Day 00 podcast where the problems with the Microsoft conference heavily relying on the Kinect and family time were brought up by Jonathan Blow. It's funny to hear Patrick saying that Microsoft is so far ahead they don't have to be amazing. The others were not as positive.

What's funny to me is that I forgot that Microsoft lead Sony by a large degree. They seem to have really self destructed with all their moves regarding the Kinect and Xbox as an entertainment center.

@mike: This actually made me laugh. I don't know why I found it so funny, but it kind of made my day. The simple things, I guess.

@dovah: But Microsoft had a huge lead...like in 2007. By 2011 Sony and Micro where neck and neck in terms of world numbers, and even in the US it was close. PS3/360 where never as far apart as the PS4/XONE are, and 360 had a year start.

@tyrrael: yeah I didn't think about that. I just found th comments interesting to look at from a historic perspective. I liked Jonathan Bloom giving them a hard time for things that were glaring issues. The Microsoft response was basically "well when in a few years your Xbox is controlling your entertainment, you will see that we were right."

For someone who knew nothing about the consoles at this time, the perspective that Microsoft was easily dominate surprised me. Also, that Microsoft wanted to move away from gamers surprised me. I read a comment that said people were watching movies on the Xbox because it was already in the house for gaming- something Microsoft seemed to overlook in its statistics about how much time was spent watching tv be how much time was spent gaming.

I was very curious about how they went so wrong.

Also, Patrick was making the comment that Microsoft was far ahead in the video after the 2011 Microsoft presentation. No one disagrees though they all seem underwhelmed by Microsofts presentation. They seem to feel that the pressure is on Sony. That is where I got the idea from. I have no knowledge of this myself because I wasn't paying attention to games back then.

Edit: mods sorry for necroing an old thread. Didn't know that might not be ok.
