I've seen some shit in my days, but that was the hardest yet.

Eocene is pronounced "ee-oh-seen." Just thought I'd throw that out there.

EDIT: The bone looks to be a femur (upper leg bone) but I did not get a great look at it. The proximal part (the part that attaches to the hip) seems to have been busted or eroded off. Anyway, that is my two bit analysis. I'm an archaeologist, damn it, not some prissy palaeontologist.

EDIT 2: Now that I look at it again, it looks more like a tibia (shin bone)... The part that I thought was busted could actually be the part that attaches to the ankle.

Checked on Wikipedia as some actors have their signatures posted so you can verify. That's definitely Michael Critchton's signature.

Am I the only one who wants to send the guy who sent this more plastic bags? Just throwing like 5 things in a bag like that and then only labeling them with the loose paper would make me paranoid. Once those two things became separated I would have no idea anymore.

Also, holy shit about the Jurassic Park script. That is pretty rad.

@patrickklepek: That is amazing. The script being signed by all those folks is fantastic, but all of that paleontology stuff is incredible. Now I want you to start calling up Paleontologists during Jurassic Lark and getting information on what the dinosaurs would have really looked like.
