The Pickles is a reference that my brother and I got right away when watching the Endurance Run. It's a play off the band "The Pillows", which are famous basically for one reason: Doing the sound track to FLCL. Basically they're a Japanese version of Greenday in style and popularity (I guess).

The Emu and Kangaroo Jerky was a great inclusion, but I felt everything else bar maybe the Burger Rings weren't wholly Aussie (I'm actually surprised Burger Rings aren't a thing State-side, I never actually had a look when I was there earlier this year, but yeah those things would take off massively if marketed).
 
Although the Red Rock Deli Honey Soy Chicken is the absolute tits, so that was another good inclusion, the GB crew will love that (if they ever actually eat it...).

Indeed, what passes off as Turkish Delights (real name: Lokom) in the West is but a cheap imitation of the real thing. Lokom aren't supposed to have nuts in them. They are actually sugar and starch flavored with lemon and rosewater and are much bigger than their nefarious gumdrop sized impostors.
