@rorie The podcast player seems a bit busted. Everytime you pause and then press play again, the audio seems to start playing like 1 minute before where you were. Sometimes more.

They're getting good with the commercials.

Vinny continues to be amazing. AKI wrestling games are still the best PLAYING wrestling games out there. The only thing that came close was WWE All Stars.

I wonder if the people from Stamps.com have heard these ads.

Until vinny mentioned it I had never crystallised in my head that in the US drinking is illegal until the last year of college. In the UK the final year of uni is when you drink and go out much much less than you did before, due to having vital exams and such.

America's drinking law is crazy.

See also: flu shots. Over here not only is there much less of a deal about them, but you are only allowed a flu shot if you are old, have certain disabilities, are a carer for someone who does, or work in health care. Absolutely no need for most people to have it.

Durak is the best card game ever. It's pretty much the only card game I play. There is more strategy to it then initially appears. Though the reflection rule is kind of silly with only two players. Teams is fun also.

Cold isn't absence of heat. -50C is still lot "hotter/warmer" than -150C. They are just different kinds of temperatures. Everything radiates "heat" (I think ).

A bit disappointing to actually watch TASBot. I was expecting R.O.B. to be pressing buttons and stuff. Instead it was just a circuit board stuck to his front.

Clever as all get out, mind you, but didn't live up to expectations.

I really wish more fast food joints would use the Sheetz model of ordering food so I can no longer interact with other people ever again.

I agree with Jeff about the burgers, and I don't even eat fast food often at all. McDonalds taste like a greasy turd, BK tastes like a flame-broiled turd, and Wendy's tastes somewhat like a cheeseburger. Same with the fries. McDonalds tastes like salt sticks, Wendy's tastes like a salty, soggy mess, and Burger King fries tastes like cardboard. Five Guys' Cajun fries are the shit though. Burgers are okay. East Coast, so I've never had In & Out.

The harder one is to call out a burger from Chili's, Applebees, TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesday and all those places. I couldn't tell those apart if $1m was on the line.

Is the only difference ad free?

The TAS runs weren't that impressive until they made Pong and Snake IN Super Mario World. That shit was insane.

Also not sure how Brad says that OoT run isn't as much skill based as the others when there are tricks that require precision to a few frames. I like 100% and longer runs better but those runs require a TON of skill.

Also everyone go watch the Super Metroid race. That was awesome.

I've always thought of Meat as an all encompassing term for any animal protein. But for some reason sea life isn't included, that's a whole separate thing.

@jeff Seriously, I think the way you deliver the ads are fantastic. I've heard a few dozen other podcasts use Stamps.com and some of the other ad's you've run and even as a subscriber I would actually rather listen to the one with the ads.

It's Big Picture guys, running the same as it does on any Linux computer. Meaning you could do the dullshock 3 workaround if you wanted to.

I do wish the selection was wider, but it is getting there game by game. Been enjoying the Broken Age beta on my linux laptop for example, and that's not the best gaming laptop.

Guys, just for the record, I have streamed my PS4 over the Internet and played a bunch of AC4 on that with no issues. If you're connection is decent, this PS Now thing can totally work.

But when you say meat, it is always beef. Everything else requires a qualifier. "Meat and potatoes" is steak and potatoes. You'd better goddamn say if you're having a porkchop instead of a steak.

COME ON GUYS THIS ISN'T ROCKET FOOD SCIENCE.

In NYC it's always been the other way around. KFC is greasy but edible while Popeyes is just awful, like the White Castle of poultry.

Even in Louisiana the quality of Popeyes can vary from awesome to crap depending on the franchise. But KFC is truly consistently terrible.

I like the super thick breading on their chicken but it get's monotonous in flavor about two pieces in. I don't mind their chicken sandwiches although for a chain that specializes in chicken they aren't very inventive.
