Woot! Bombcast!

ME2 on insanity is completely cheap.  It also makes a lot of the design flaws more readily apparent as a result.  First and foremost is how terrible the team A.I. is, as you guys have talked about on the podcast.  The enemies get a huge boost in shield/barrier, accuracy as well as their tactics (taking cover more and actually try to flank you).  However, your teammate do not get such improvement at all.  They may be competent in casual or normal, but on higher difficulty, their actions are completely baffling and idiotic.  Dying within the first few seconds of the battle is commonplace.  You also find out rather quickly that the 4 team commands just don't cut it.
 
Class balance is also an issue.  Vanguard's abilities are completely useless and ineffective until you strip off the shield/barrier.  Definitely do not recommend insanity unless you like repetition.  At least you get to know each fight intimately because you have to try different strategies again and again.

Select Marines, Marauders and type /dance into the chat while playing StarCraft 2.

Mass Effect 2 on Insanity is exactly what the hardest difficulty suppose to be. It is hard but NOT impossible. Brad don't listen to the guys who say that Vanguards are useless, it is simply not true. With thurg ammo, Heavy Charge, Guardian, and Squad Cryo ammo. You can charge and one shot most enemies with a shield, barrier, or armor and whatever is still standing is frozen by your squads cryo ammo.  Your shield also recharges 100% after each charge even if your screen is red (low health) and it looks like you are close to death your shield will be up which gives you time to take out anyone near you or take over the cover point closest to you.
 
It is not only possible to beat insanity with a Vanguard it is also FUN!  When I get home from work I will make a video showing some me go through a level on Insanity.
 
I can't speak for infiltrator but my friend is going through insanity right now and he says he is loving it. I will see if he has any pointers and post them. 
 
Here are videos of a dude running through a couple of levels on insanity with a Vanguard. He has a different style then me but he gets the job done just the same. There is also a link basic strats etc. 
 
Don't get it twisted Insanity is hard but it is not hard do to buggy AI or unbalanced classes. It is insane and you do need to master your class to be successful but that is what makes this the most challenging and fun difficulty.

 Vorcha on Insanity are such a pain in the ass. The difficulty is frustrating but ultimately what I would expect from something titled "Insanity" that is the fifth and highest level of difficulty. Insanity in ME1 was a joke.

Every time I see or hear anything about Alan Wake, it seems like its directly taken from a movie called "In the Mouth of Madness".
