That was just amazing, but I wonder what Arthur Gies and the rest of the Rebel FM crew thinks about loosing the monopoly on relationship advice in gaming podcasts.

@Brackynews: Yeah, no point in trying to figure out why they kinda have to start over again. I just want them to pump out as much or more content as they did before the whole breakup. I've been playing more games than usual and it's freaking me out.

I lost it during all of that renegade phone business. This is probably my favorite Bombcast in awhile -- and that's saying something.

This my only audio source for all the hot topics from the world of video games! Back and better than ever!

sounds more professional but its hard to listen to since sound seems too deep. hopefully equalizers in winamp will fix it.

update/edit:

naturally 'club' preset in winamp seems to be closest to previous bombcast audio :)

Wait, um, depending on whether I heard that right, congratulations to Ryan on his engagement?

I didnt like this one as much as the most recent ones. The audio seemed too radio jockey; voices too breathy. Guys seemed a bit more tense than usual. Monkeying around with the buttons isnt amusing, except for one or two moments.

I am willing to write all that stuff off as getting used to the new space, but I think the garage-feel of the Whiskey era is gone for good. Now all the side stories will revolve around making fun of corporate life. That's cool, except I do that all day long as it is, since I work in a giant corporation. I found the garage-feel exotic, attractive and relaxing.

But hey, I will reserve judgment until they hit their stride at CBS. At least there will still be water jars.

I listen to this at work and only have one headphone in so I can hear my coworkers and phone so please don't move to stereo.

Also really fun party conversations happen throughout the ship. Just use check the map! If Garrus and Vega are in the same room, then go there!

Sound quality is pretty bad.

Johnny V missed the most important call of his life.

The sound seems slightly off to me. Sounds more like Internet radio or something. The previous podcast just seemed to sound more crisp.

@Brackynews: Joey is on vacation, so Will and Norm hired these random dudes to shoot the iPad quick looks for them. Don't worry, after his vacation is over, he's going to resume being cameraman.

sounds not that good. just listened to the last one from daves house. they seem farther away and the voices are thinner and not as clear anymore. probably gamespots microphones? and yeah, this whole effect stuff doesn't help to add quality.

I love how the only thing that moving to CBS changed about the Bombcast is that they can now abuse the CBS theme song catalog.

I think they can take it to the next level and add in sound bytes and quotes from bad ass movies.

I love how the giantbomb guys themselves are making references to the "flight club".

And I was floored when I heard the intro theme song. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

So pardon my ignorance, but if this is in Hollywood, have you all moved? There's no way you guys could possibly be commuting from the Bay Area down to L.A. every day.

EDIT: Wow, that is insane. I LITERALLY said almost exactly what Patrick said about The Walking Dead after the first two episodes of Season Two after the mid-season break. My exact words to my friends were, "Get me the fuck off this farm already!". It was seriously boring the shit out of me. Great minds think alike, I guess.

The description of this Bombcast is a reference to The Price is Right (hence, the theme song they used in the intro). They're still in San Francisco, where the Gamespot offices are as well.

I think ME3 is fantastic for the most part, but they make some valid points that I have felt myself as well.

That said, I'll definitely put my vote in for less compressor. The highs and lows, hell even the occasional pops make it sound more like I'm sitting in the duded up room with you guys rather than listening in on the phone.

I'd also be down for you playing with stereo podcasts even if it meant the files were larger.

Good god the first few minutes is the first time i've laughed out loud listening to gbomb in months!!

I want to apologise to Jeff for calling his review process cynical. I'm pretty passionate about Mass Effect, more so than any form of home entertainment since RE2 and so hearing that BioWare blew it after having the thing sitting on a silver plate, isn't the easiest pill to swallow. Having played the game for 30+ hours, still not finished yet and comparing all mainstream reviews, his opinion is... spot on!! This should have been the game of this generation, but with a few hitchy moments in story and gameplay it shows they rushed it way too early to release. Such a wasted opportunity that may not come around again.

@powerbomb: CBS Interactive, who owns GameSpot, bought Giant Bomb and Comic Vine. They have both moved into the GameSpot offices. This happened last week. Screened, Anime Vice, and Tested were all bought by a different company. Now Adam and Jamie from Mythbusters run Tested with Will and Norm, Anime Vice continues to be irrelevant, and no one knows what the hell is going on with Screened.

I heard the intro music and got worried.

But then I heard Ryan Davis' dulcet "God dammit" and I knew that it was all gonna be fine.
