Nope. I'm just taking today off, and wanted to get the podcast taken care of nice and early. Intended on delaying release until noon PT, but forgot that, unlike our other tools, our podcast tools don't swing that way!

As someone who really enjoys puzzle platformers and was expecting Fez to be one, I was pretty disappointed by it. It's neat that they put so much into creating their little secrets which turn out to be the real meat of the game, but I don't think it's fun. Having a bunch of hidden stuff is cool, but if it doesn't engage gameplay, it's not interesting to me. Like Jeff said, at some point it might as well be a text adventure.

Some really interesting un-intended analogies in this Bombcast. The Deus Ex ending description was as if they were talking about ME3 truthfully. And the "internet figuring it out" thing with Fez is exactly what WoW has been about for all these years, but only people that are really into WoW knew about it.

In regards to the Witcher 2 on PC the tutorial came out with the 2.0 patch and also include dark mode and Arena, today they updated to the enhanced Edition which the 360 version is, it's a 10GB update which includes a new intro, bug fixes / tweaks and 4hours of extra content all for Free for existing Witcher 2 owners as all previous updates have been.

@patrickklepek Might and Magic is also sci-fi, albeit a bit less open about it. Whereas Wizardry straight up says "Yo Spaceships!" you don't get laser guns and fight robots in your average Might and Magic game until the very end.

I'm kinda done with indie 2D retro-trowback platformers, but.....mannnnnnn, that sounds like my kind of game.

If being acquired by CBSi means Bombcast on east coast time, then it's definitely a positive move.

I found the Witcher 2 tutorial much more helpful than Patrick.
