as usual, stellar podcast

Would a new Halo game that doesn't have Master Chief in it not feel so pressed if it wasn't named Halo 4, but something completely different?
Set in the Halo universe but not necessarily on the planet Halo..

Is it just me or was Ryan a bit of a grump on the show?  He's funny as fuck as always, but he had an edge today.

I live in Louisiana, and I don't particularly favor Popeyes - there are much better fast food places in the area I live.

Oh, and Popeyes is not representative of southern chicken.

Jeff is not kidding when he says that the Shatter Soundtrack is Awesome. Go log onto their website, you can listen to all songs in their entirety streaming on their site for free, or alternatively, download and burn for $10. Great disc though.

Just to settle things:

1. Die Hard 1
2. Die Hard: With A Vengeance
3. Die Hard 2
4. Die Hard 4

Die Hard 2 and 4 are difficult to place because each is bad in their own specific ways. Die Hard 4 is bad because of its dumb hacker plot-line and crap villian, but other than that it's an okay movie (and Justin Long is actually likable for once). Die Hard 2 is, in some ways, even more stupid than Die Hard 4, but the ways in which its stupid makes it one of those so-bad-it's-good movies. Like the baddy doing kung-fu in his apartment, watching TV, naked?!

Very interesting podcast, as always!
I'm looking forward to the PAX-coverage & the GB-panel (I hope it'll be available in some form, like a special podcast...). Also: damn you for bringing Shatter to my attention, I totally want that now that it featured in the QL and on the bombcast ;)
But I guess it won't come out on PC, so that's not going to happen for me...

Im most excited about Borderlands the art style is awesome and the gameplay looks smooth and easy to play. I hope it turns out as good at it looks.

MARVELMAN/Miracleman now belongs to Marvel, New Bone book, New JLA team, Kick-Ass Movie, Jonah Hex Movie and some more news.
Comic Vine is a shit website. It looks nice next to comicbookdb.com but its not as usefull and the reporting is shit next to comicbookrecorses or newsarama.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Die Hard: With a Vengeance is better than Die Hard 1.

Gonna have disagree with Jeff's "Don't give me a Halo game without Master Chief" comment. I haven't been more excited about Halos future since CE.

I'm def. in the minority but I really hate the entire cast of the 3 Halo games, especially MC.

Edit: Wow, Jeff really thinks Warcrafts lore would lead to a cookie cutter medievil movie and a Lord of the Rings rip off? You sir, have obviously no clue about the Warcraft lore.

Monday actually IS named after the moon - in Spanish it's "lunes" as in "Luna", the name of the moon. 

Monday's Getsuyoubi in Japanese, and Getsu is Moon in Japanese.
