Hahaha, just heard the last part of the bombcast. With about 3:10 left, they talk about getting ready for PAX and that Jeff should get ready for some Blitz action. Then Brad mentions that there was a Blitz 99 machine in his hotel in Texas to which Vinny Excalims..."Nice!!!" just sounds so funny and vinny getting all excited about it makes it much more hilarious.

@thecleric: borderlands is set on a different planet that has always been like a desert landscape, it is not a post apocolyptic earth.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but silica is definitely not poisonous. Silica is actually glass. Diatom shells, which are made of silica, are used as a non-toxic pesticide because it cannot be digested by insects, but is harmless to larger animals.
