As for the game to take with me on a desert island, I sure as shit wouldn't choose Tetris!  I'd pick a boardgame instead, such as Fortress America, Supremacy, or Avalon Hill's Squad Leader (w/all expansions) & maybe Avalon Hill's Stellar Conquest & Third Reich.   You're out on an island, you need a good lengthy game that is time-consuming & allows for you to change the rules after a bit.

Thanks,  Adam Boyes, John Vignocchi and Giantbomb crew for making one of the best bombcasts ever.  and boo for the haters, i liked the style of how Johnny V told his stories. That kind of storytelling with Johnny V's crazy exciting telling made me just laugh outloud and Adam played the straight-man sidekick good. They make a good comedy duo those two.  But i must say perhaps he was given a little too much space? But that's more of a problem of how the show is structured than Johnny, because he was needed today.   I find the regular bombcasts too drawn out, heck even themselves find them too long so they have to make pauses and everything. They should limit it to a one hour show and only draging out when necessary, don't want stories to be cut short or making something special. So it actually feel like it's something special "Oh man this week it's extra long! EXCITED!". Also I kinda want that perhaps once a month there is guests on the show. Everything from Drew, Dave to people of the past and other game journalists or like game developers like today. but the formula need to be a little stricter a good mix of game content and humour.  "

I love the Bombcast, but I have to agree with you. This guy was extremely annoying. I don't mind having guests on the show along with the regular crew, but when they take over the entire show and hardly let anyone else get a word in, it gets real tedious real fast, no matter if some of his stories are funny or not.  It sounded to me like Ryan was also getting pretty irrated by the end when he kept on derailing the topics at hand. we all know the right answer  for the best game ever and its called system shock 2. no but please if you dont  like it ignore me.

I enjoyed some of the stories, maybe we didn't need so much interruption but they gave a bit of variety and I did laugh at one point.

Gotta say, this is probably the first Bombcast that I couldn't make it all the way through. Too many distracting stories from the guests that I didn't really care for.

You guys are all crazy. I LOVED John's stories and having a chaotic podcast like this every once in a while is a nice change of pace from the more tame standard-cast Bombcasts.

I enjoyed it, though it looks like some people didn't. I guess some people only want to hear news, and not be entertained...
 
I didn't hear the breathing this time, but I have heard it a few times before in the past.
 
I hope John Vignocchi finds a job. He seems like a cool guy.

Funniest and most off topic bombcast ever.

I'm still listening to this podcast, probably the funniest in recent memory (in ranks higher than the cobra commnder bombcast from March09).

Johnny V - Good luck on finding a job and I hope Adam et al hook you up at Capcom. After being laid off twice I definitely know how low you can feel. Keep your chin up bro.

This podcast was one of my favorites. Hilarious. I got the most kicks out of Ryan being so obviously annoyed at those guys' stories and keeping him from "his work" at directing the podcast. Little too bent for such a fun deal. 

Whats up with all the Johnny V hate? I don't recall all this anger towards Paul Barnett's stories. Loved this Bombcast, may have been really chaotic but I would have to put this one on the all-time bests in Bombcast history. 

I am a GiantBomb virgin, this show popped my cherry.  And it was good.
 
Definite repeat listener, keep up the good work.  Was good to see some random off topic stuff thats really listenable and enjoyable.  :)

Yea everyone, chill down John was cool to have on.  It was a great podcast, geeze..... 
Personally I listen to the bombcast more for the funny stuff rather than just game news. 
If I wanted just game journalism I'd listen to idk any of the other game podcasts out there but the bombcast  is special because I love the guys who run it and their personalities.

I'm all for long drawn out bomcasts, any 2hour+ bombcast is insta success.

This is probably the best bombcast. Randomly came up on shuffle and have been listening again. Johnny V has to be a guest more often.

I've been going through the old podcasts (again) and this one is certainly one of the overall best Bombcasts.

Vignocchi should be more often on the Bombcast :D

So weird listening to this again after the PS4 conference and Disney Infinity. Also, surprise Dave Lang mention! This podcast was a portent of the future!
