Giant Bombcast 11/26/2013

Nice to see that even the spambots are anxious for the new bombcast.

Frantically refreshing while in traffic on my drive home.. The spate of earlycasts has ruined me.

Yeah, but I feel that you don't get the full experience unless it's 2am and you're sleep deprived/drunk.

One of these refreshes will be the one...

@rejizzle: I also have my doubts it has much of a "roller coaster" effect if you already know about all the stuff that was announced.

So do you guys refresh with F5? The little refresh icon in your browser? Some other obscure trick I've never heard of?

I personally refresh by pressing the podcast tab with my left mouse button.

In this situation I usually use the browser button since I'm typically switching between multiple windows on two monitors. It's faster just to click on the refresh button than to click on the window to re-focus and then hit f5.

Pros use Ctrl+R

I have a script that refreshes the bombcast RSS feed. As soon as it's avaialble, it download it, sends it to my phone, and sends me an SMS.

Yea, you're probably right. Only in my tired stupor did I have to laugh at that lady speaking gibberish (I assume) for over five minutes after the countdown clock ticked over; I knew I was in for a very long night.

There totally is one and Alex is in town. Jeff and Alex were talking about the recording of the Bombcast on Mixlr.

With Jeff's obvious love of the Fast & Furious movies, I expect nothing less than an hour chunk of Paul Walker ironic death goodness. Though it may be a little close to home/too soon what with Ryan and all...

This episode has the wrong date on ITunes. It's for the 29th, which isn't even a Tuesday.

Man I usually agree with nearly everything the giantbomb guys say but I don't know what the fuck Jeff was on about with Forza 5. I kinda felt like he wanted to hate the game from the beginning. Drivatards are great and having 16 racers on track at once makes winning races so much more satisfying and just overall more fun to play. Car selection is good and the career mode has been fine so far, I'm probably around halfway through it. I can't comment on mulitplayer since I haven't touched it but I never do on these games and still get months of play out of them. Yeah maybe 5 is stripped down compared to 4 but I find that the visual improvements and 16 car races makes up for it. Less tracks but I really like the track selection, there's so many new tracks this time around compared to 4 there was only like 2 new tracks. I'm loving this game. I still love you Jeff! lol
