Giant Bombcast 12/31/2013

This episode of the Giant Bombcast was filmed live in front of a webcam audience. The audio is pretty rough for the first five minutes, then it gets better. But it's still not as good as it sounds when we're in a studio, because we weren't in a studio. That's how it goes!

The Giant Bombcast is the world's most beloved video game podcast, and now it's available in video form.

This podcast is fine and all.

But if you are at a computer, you should really watch the full experience.

It's just a shame the video quality is usually ass. Other than that, hangouts is pretty awesome.

Thank you for the Bomb cast! Got a kick out of all the hats, Vinny looks like a new man(lol!!) Brad like another poster said, does look like Kasivin.

Funny, I do not see that comment, or may others I saw last night, I think.

But thank you.

They live in California. Why would they even need to own a knit hat? For when it drops to 50?

I've lived in Wyoming and Wisconsin my whole life so I know what cold is. I can't imagine SF getting cold enough to wear winter stuff other than a hoodie.

Wait, so they can't be cold in the climate their bodies have become accustomed to because the climate YOUR body is accustomed to can reach drastically lower temperatures? In that case I would like to introduce to a friend of mine from Calgary. He would like to laugh at your pathetic attempt at winter.

You're not necessarily wrong about the Bay Area. SF does not get too cold, but if your body is not acclimated to colder temperatures then the Bay Area can still seem pretty damn chilly. Bodies adapt to the climate they're familiar with. For example, when its 110 outside in the summer, I'm not too bothered because I grew up in it. 115+ is a bit hot, but nothing too terrible.

I'm from Queensland, Australia ... we've had mid 40c (104 F) days here with 90% humidity (which is hot but I can live with it) so when I was in SF and it dropped around 5-10c with strong winds at night I felt like I was in a freezer.

I remember enjoying the Telltale Sam and Max stuff, but it doesn't even get close to comparable to Walking Dead or Wolf Among Us.

Too bad Jeff can't enjoy those games, I find them excellent.

Just to put an end to this tirade, but we all go through something called acclimation. We're all mostly used to our local climates and when we are thrown into a totally different one, it can feel extreme until you get used to that climate. S.F. can pretty feel cold because of its crazy wind but also because the bay area can go through a seemingly perfect year of weather of 70F everyday and then all of a sudden hit 40F or 105F which can feel crazy if you're not used to those kinda conditions.
