I'd have to go back and watch the VR stream to confirm, but I think @brad may have missed the introductory screen in Headmaster that shows you how to direct your head. To head left, you actually tilt your head to the right. So what I would do at the start of a level is put my head where I imagine a neutral (0,0) would be (and maybe re-center with the Options button). If I want to hit a target to my right I would tilt slightly left and see where the ball went and not move my head, or you'll forget the angle you just tried. Then make adjustments from there; if it missed a little left and low, then I move my head a bit more right, and down so that the next hit would shift toward the target. Playing this way I have 3-starred most everything through exam 2. Now when the game goes indoors it got a lot harder for me, but thats a good starter tip I think.

Also on the topic of best Wii U games, I have been carrying the flag for The Wonderful 101 since it came out. The action is really fun, the characters are great, and the ending sequence is one of the most fun (and funny) I have played before. At least look up on Youtube the ending ~15 minutes or so, its so good.

@meant2live218: Speaking of, do you have any idea why it tends to show up on there a half hour to a few hours late every time? Bugs me because sometimes it's available when I leave work and sometimes it isn't until i'm most of the way home.

@aethelred: an interesting question. I would personally say no, if only because a large portion of the movie takes place after part 1. MY own personal definition for a prequel would have it taking place entirely before the movie/book/game in question.

@aethelred: @sethmode: In my mind, in order to be a prequel a story needs to take place entirely before the events of a prior story, and it also needs to have a plot that is connected to the previous work. Neither Temple of Doom or Godfather II qualify, in my opinion. Temple of Doom just happened to take place before Raiders, but it's not essential that it does.

My favorites are movies that are simultaneously sequels and prequels at the same time. Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, for instance, is a prequel to the original film because it shows how the Apes took over the Earth, but it's also a sequel insofar as the main character is the son of Cornelius and Zira from the first movie, the two of them having traveled back in time in the third movie. The Planet of the Apes sequels are fucking weird, incidentally.

Not sure who the bigger Nintendo mark is- Jeff or Dan.

As for the topic at hand, I'd love to have a console that plays Nintendo's classic franchises, but not at the expense of practically zero third party support. Had I the chance to get free consoles or the flexible income these guys have to own every console, of course I'd get it. But if you put yourself in the shoes of regular folks, unless you're a Nintendo brand enthusiast, you lose out on a lot of quality third party games getting their consoles these days.

and conversely, you lose out on the wealth of nintendo franchises by going with the ps4 or xbox beige box. sacrifices either way. that said, nothing we've seen yet that confirms 3rd party support will be as dry as it was with the wii u. and with handheld/console combined there's bound to be more games at least.

Anyone want to take science too far and put something dumb like Cowboy by Kid Rock over the Red Dead trailer?

It used to be a gaming PC and one of the "big three" consoles for exclusives. Now it's a gaming PC, one of the big two and then maybe a Nintendo on the side. It's not an ideal situation.
