Giant Bombcast Giant Bomb's Game of the Year 2015: Day Two

Man I really thought Flowey would get talked about more here...but I guess the group didn't seem him that much.

I've never had a character give me such violent feelings, not even a fully 3d human with voice acting.

And this was a black and white 2D fucking flower...and if you somehow put him in front of me...I would beat the living fuck out of him out of pure rage(not kill, I spared him) but damn it...that entire exchange at the ending of Undertale still keeps me up some nights...

I enjoyed Undertale. Granted, I don't think it's the masterpiece everyone else seems to think it is, but I find it enjoyable enough and the story is interested. That said, I think the music is some generic-ass chiptune stuff and at no point during my time with the game did it ever stick out to me. I really genuinely don't get all the love for it. I don't think it's bad, but I don't think it's interesting.

As a programmer, I have to side with Jeff and Vinny. No, you can't expect software to be perfectly bug free. But that's not the full extent of the problems with Fallout 4. There's a myriad of issues including all aspects of the game, and some of those have carried over from previous Bethesda games. There are things Bethesda could improve. There's always room for improvement. The real problem here though is that Bethesda has no incentive to improve when they are making all this money. Sales shouldn't be the determining factor, but they certainly haven't shown a desire to improve for the sake of simply making a better product. It's sad, really.

I actually find it ridiculous how people are saying that @jeffbullied his way to include Fallout 4 in Most Disappointing. He was just very impassioned and he wasn't alone. All the points everyone made are valid but to call Jeff a bully is fucking ridiculous.

I'm actually a little surprised no one threw The Witcher 3 on the list for best soundtrack; it's pretty fucking amazing.

it's frustrating to listen to Brad and Austin defend it. So fucking stupid.

Late to the party, but there's nothing Fallout 4 does with it's "clockwork world" that's in any way interesting, engaging, or remotely necessary to the game. If the argument is that all that bs makes it a buggy game, take all that bs out and design something better.

Heck, the old STALKER games had random encounters, every character has inventory, etc and it gets entirely overlooked.

Funny thing about that MGSV track the crew were so pumped on was actually a track from Peace Walker, used on the PSP title's debut trailer E3 2009 no less.

14 hour OT shift in the office today. I think I found the perfect soundtrack...

Everyone hated MGSV's ending, so it didn't get win anything?!

Why would you do that guys?! Who were you trying to punish?! The guys who stayed at Konami and finished the game despite terrible working conditions?!

In regards to FO4, listening to this at the end of 2018 is quite entertaining. Jeff was 100% correct years ago and it finally took till FO76 for others to see that.
