More Dark Souls and Forza 4 coverage? Yes Please. Throw in some coverage of Only on PSN games and it'll be a great week.

But, I still hate Mondays, I don't care what you say.

I mean, I do get it — more room to show off the games. But I prefer the old style, which then cuts to just a full screen of the footage once they get past the introduction. New format fulfills its purpose though, letting us know what's coming up in the week, so I guess it's not a big deal.

I'm a fan of the impromptu vids, myself. Either way, I think everyone agrees the current reincarnation needs to go.

Sigh... They did last week? And if you don't count TM2, there was Gears 3 before that. Personally, I'd much rather a Portal 2 TNT than Battlefield 3 or whatever dull to watch multiplayer game they would do otherwise. Variety is a good, good thing.

Glad I'm a member so I can catch the archive, though. I can't play it until Sunday and it has story elements. Oh well.

I wonder how much longer it's going to be until they announce the beginning of the new Endurance Run. They said at their PAX Panel several weeks ago that a new ER was coming, to the surprise and applause of the crowd, but I haven't heard a peep about it from them since.

@Deusoma: If you guys are starving for more Endurance Runs, Kessler and Steve have been going through Condemned on the Fear Gauntlet, and it's totally been of ER quality so far.

It's because they haven't reviewed it yet. An ER of an action game that was actually well made would be no different from the hundreds of Let's Plays you can find on YouTube. When I hear "Endurance Run", I want to see either something of a genre that isn't normally played on video, or something of really, really poor quality or something exceptionally quirky (and preferably both).

You must be referring to Deadly Premonition. Persona 4 is a well made game IMO and I enjoyed that endurance run a ton more than the Deadly Premonition one. The Deadly Premonition one got a slight negative vibe because of it's 'quirky' gameplay. That may be what you are looking for, not me though.

Dark Souls has a lot of atmosphere and a lot of weird stuff to talk about, their something unique around every corner. It's also super tense which brings out those good endurance run moments. I'm not positive they are doing it but I would definitely watch if they did. I'm not really interested in the gameplay, I'm interested in their reactions. If the Let's Play on youtube had Jeff and Vinny playing I'd be right there watching it.

Saw them afterward. But still, I couldn't disagree more about community TNTs being better. Then again, I rarely play competitive games, so I guess I'm biased toward co-op video content.

I am content with a mix of both community play and in-studio cooperation.

ER's are meant to fill content gaps during slow seasons. I highly doubt they will start an ER just as they are about to enter the busiest time of the year. My guess is a few months after Christmas and Mass Effect 3.

As for what game it needs to be, it needs something with a good story and cast of characters. Gameplay has NEVER been what made people want to watch the ER. It's the MST3000 approach to them reacting to all the crazy stuff that happens in the story that keeps people wanting to come back. That's my three cents anyway.

So we should expect it sometime after two months since the game is released? (Two months to the day for Persona 4 and 2 1/2 for Deadly Premonition.)

Moreover -- how fucking boring would that be? It's hard to play a From game that is appealing to another viewer. The QL did a great job at showcasing the game, but I was more focused on learning about it than watching out of amusement.

Unless the goal here is to pick a game where there's actually a very real chance of just putting it down and going 'Nope. Endurance Run over, I'm done.' But I doubt it.

Doom 3???? what about 2005's Quake 4? Yeah Raven developed some of it... but ID still has Dev credit on it.

@jrlyon: That Dark Souls Quick Look didn't cover any of the MP features. That could be a large part of the game.

Either they had planned to cover that part in a separate video or they got a huge number of views of the original Quick Look and decided to cover a popular game more. There are more plausible explanations for revisiting a game like this than for an ER.

I'm gonna be honest. I don't really love this Monday.

You know what you should never do, make TNT about a puzzle game people want to play more then they want to watch. I'm not going to watch this weeks TNT because I would rather experience Portal 2 then watch someone wreck all of the puzzles for me.
