I'm glad that you guys brought Tali back, but I don't agree that it was "some bullshit". You made a bad choice, that's it.

Yeah the changes to Shep's face are..unfortunate. I wonder what happened to the model import. Could it be the mods? Anywho. This is my favorite GB series on the Citadel and I'm glad to have it back. And extra, extra glad Alex is living his truth and brought back Tali!

Any chance you guys could set the dynamic range lower in the in-game audio settings? Sound effects are loud AF yet the voices aren't.

Man.. look, guys. Lots of people actually agree that the way the game presented its clues for which squadmate was best suited for a specific part of the mission was kind of muddy. Folks read things different ways, miss a detail here or there, or misconstrue some other thing because they're reading too much into a wording choice. It's swell that some of y'all thought the right answers were so obvious. Others didn't, including Alex. Him feeling like he wasn't given a fair chance to make a properly informed choice is valid. Y'all don't have to be so condescending. It sounds like you're overly desperate to defend a 10 year old game just because someone had a different experience with it than you. Give it a rest.

I really hope you guys include the DLC! I feel like in ME3 it's almost essential.

lul tali's back- deal with it. the story will be richer for it, and any arguments trying to espouse some notion of sanctity or authenticity of the playthrough being besmirched can get double-stuffed.

that said- i'm super stoked to join @alex and @vinny on this journey. i haven't touched this game since it's release, and i have a feeling some time and distance will have done this game a whole lot of good. i was a little let-down at the time- but even a clumsy and mildly disappointing mass effect is still a pretty god damned good game. and you can't deny the game has some tremendous character moments.

plus i never played/saw the post-launch DLC, which i hear is outstanding- so this should be a treat. thanks for jumping back in fellas!

Dude, the game literally says to look for experience and Samara's description is all about her experience. With hindsight it's easy to see why that was a bad choice, but it was absolutely some bullshit.

Glad they didn't cave and listen to the whiners harping on living with your decision, which is just about the dumbest way to play video games.

OMG I straight up jumped up and down when you announced the Tali news. So happy to have ya'll back. I looked forward to this series so much the last two games. Thanks Vinnie and Alex!

My favorite series returns!! And I breathed a sigh of relief when I learned they were bringing Tali back. Regardless of the circumstances of her demise, she brings too much to the second third of the game for me to even consider what the game would be like without her.

I'm excited to see them get to the DLC. Seeing them react to the utter madness that is the Citadel DLC specifically is going to be so fun.

Vinny, keep reminding Alex to use those combos and try different combinations! Becoming effective using those is really the key to opening up the combat system in ME3 and having a lot of fun with it.

You can get Dr. Michel to join you on the Normandy, but you have to turn down Dr. Chakwas to do it. On my second playthrough I decided to recruit her, and the process of turning down Dr. Chakwas was so painful - she's heartbroken you don't need her - I rolled my save back to get Chakwas again.

Yaaaaaay! So freaking excited for this!

I always forget jessica chobot is in this game and that voice acting...is not great.

Very excited for this one. I know Alex has mostly been more of a gunner than a power-user, but I hope he gets a bit into those biotic combos because they're just so satisfying. You can't beat a bit of warp/throw.

Regardless, I can't wait to see how this all plays out for y'all... And I'm glad that Tali will be there for the ride.

Strange that none of the game in this ep. seemed familiar, with the ME1 and ME2 eps I could almost recall scene for scene as it happened. I can remember the french doc from ME1 when we meet Garrus but forgot she was even in 3 at all.

Looking forward to the playthrough as it seems like I'll get to experience it almost as if I never played it.

Really happy you stuck with Tali coming back. One of my top characters in ME3!

Hell yeah let's go! This is the only ME of the main trilogy I never finished. I abandoned it about half way, I can't remember exactly why. Some altered components of the design had been changed in ways that irritated me, I think.
