Metal Gear Scanlon: Part 04

This episode seems to showcase the epitome of Drew's ability to get flustered because he's doing bad...which only results in him doing worse.

As I rewatch the series (because I have too much free time), I'm reminded how these videos chronicled the genuine budding friendship between Dan and Drew. It's honestly adorable to watch them recognize each other's 80's/90's action movie references; they have similar taste in music from before their own times only being two years separated in age. Even in other video features I started noticing them making each other laugh much more than they do with the other guys once this series had begun.

Calling it now: Dan and Drew will be one another's best man on their respective wedding days.

I've watched most of Metal Gear Scanlon V since it's the only MGS I played, but I loved the feature so much that I decided to watch all the rest. This is so good haha!

One of the deaths in this video caused me to genuinely laugh out loud about how cheap it was, and I have no history with this series. I lost it just as much as Dan did.

Drew is so bad I can’t stand it. Used chaff grenades in the worst part of fight. Gets to the end. Literally falls for teleporting dodge. EVERYTIME. SO BAD AT THIS GAME I CANT STAND IT!?!?!?!

The more I think about this game releasing in ‘98, the easier it is for me to believe this was groundbreaking

I just realized after all these years that otacon mentions hearing music, but couldn't have possibly been listening to that conversation. He doesn't even tell snake is freq until the end of the scene.
