Looking forward to this. I can understand not wanting to play through Peace Walker due to it being designed for portables but it's one of the best playing MGS games, story didn't hit me as hard as others but it's still great.

The first game of the Metal Gear Solid V trilogy (followed by Ground Zeroes and Peace Walker) The final battle with Paz is one of my favorites in the series because of that music. So great.

Man, this story was so fucking weird. Got like 5 hours in, then I gave up and watched a movie cut.

So glad yall watched this. Peace Walker seems very important to some threads in MGS V.

Hopefully you can catch a few more of the tapes though.

Is the video not working? I am watching on a ps4, but I havent had a problem playing html5 videos yet. It also disappeared from the front page.

I'm amazed that it hasn't been made more of so far the the gameplay and base building of PW is basically what it LOOKS like TPP is going to be (except of course that it will control and look like GZ)

Yep! This game is a blast to play and 5 seems to be based off the mission structure, base building, etc . When Dan states that the boss fights in this game are not great, sure compared to some others but it's all about base building. Capture that tank and use it for yourself.

Found it a bit odd (glad others did as well) that Dan was playing it off like Peace Walker wasn't that important. This game IS a MGS game it just doesn't say 5 on it.

I also think this has Hayters best voice work as either main characters. The ending scenes are pretty darn good.

Peace walker really is the creepiest MGS game.

I just want to say, Hot Coldman is probably one of the best Metal Gear villain names ever.

...............First 10 minutes...I recognize his voice anywhere it pops up.

God damnit I watched this about a week ago after giving up on the game.

Goddammit. It's a coop game with 4 metal gears fight and they will not play it?!

What a travesty!

In all honesty I never saw the real ending because I couldn't find the cypher's agent and also the grind.

So that means we will have Metal Gear Rising Revengeance (aka the best one) next week. ^^

what about portable ops?

I'm just going to ignore the fact that I need to wake up in 8 hours and watch this instead.

I was gonna go play this before 5 comes out but I guess now I don't have to!
