I didn't do the Quiet stuff because I didn't know anything about the game when I played it and the only Metal Gear boss I ever beat non-lethally was The Boss. This was interesting to see.

I used D-Horse the entire game.

I never got to tell D-Horse to "do it"

It's all about D-Dog!

Good! Love this game. I think it helps that I don't care too deeply about Metal Gear as a whole, and just welcome everything each individual game does as being its own thing, but I absolutely adore that ending and the story the game ends up telling, the way it recontextualizes the overall story and how the game just sticks to its themes so strongly. "Phantom pain". Loss. Revenge. Hallucinations, misconceptions, how people's thoughts and ideas can shape reality, for better or worse. Words that kill...

Thanks for keeping this series going, guys. It's been a blast.

No idea why this game got good reviews, it's trash and it isn't a MGS game.

In hind sight this game feels unfinished. It was a great game and fun world, but the lack of boss fights, and basically a go no where story just leave it feeling like the black sheep of the series. It's a potentially 60 plus hour game with 2 major boss fights wtf. You can even see points like where you retrieve the man on fire, or the pod from peace walker that a boss fight should been there but simply was left out. The way things are looking now it will probably be remember as the last good metal gear/konami game.

I originally stopped Metal Gear Scanlon V part way through because I was playing it myself and wanted it to be the first MGS game I finished myself, but in the end I didn't finish it. Then lots of comments of other users made me wary of going back and finishing this playthrough because I heard Drew and Dan kept getting frustrated and weren't even paying attention.

I'm so glad I finally watched the rest of the series. All those comments (even recent ones under videos echoing negative statements) were all wrong. This series was great. Dan and Drew were great, and honestly I liked the end of MGSV in the end. Maybe it's because I didn't fully click with MGSV but I didn't find Drew's playing frustrating at all. I agreed with him that the cassette and mission structure of the game was poorly handled (and a lot of the cut-scenes/plot-points feel superfluous) but it was still a fun ride.

God Speed Metal Gear Scanlon
