Maybe stop counting them as "runs" until he makes it to level 2? There's clearly a certain level of RNG where you sometimes run into strong monsters before you're properly equipped.

I like to think the Ice Monster that killed Ben was the same one that he snuck by in the first room.

The best "mini" series the site has. After the last one I made sure to check the time when the page loaded and busted out laughing before the video even started.

Hey remember the talk about runs going across multiple episodes?

Just a suggestion: if Ben doesn't make it off the first floor, it's not a run.

Also for Ben: take it slow. If you're at low health, rest a little bit (not all the way because the longer you wait, hunger is going to become an issue) so that monsters in the next room can't one-hit kill you.

Time to settle into my favorite daily series while I take a shift at work! This should help me get through the long day!

I completely agree with @bearchair, if Ben doesn't make it past the first floor it's not a run. If this series is going to have a hard limit of 13 runs, I really hope they're not all so short.
