Great Quick Look, brad playing mediocre as always! "Its not as easy as it looks" oh brad the world really is hard on you sometimes isn't it?

I'll definitely skip this one, something I don't want to mess with, all the timing nonsense and such.

Never heard of this game before, but I'm definitely intrigued. Looking forward to the release.

Man, Brad's attitude really gets on my nerves sometimes. Just play this for fun, it's ok if you make mistakes and die.

He acts like he's defusing a fucking bomb.

Welp, I do believe I've been convinced to buy this game when it comes out.

This looks great. I wasn't too hopeful when I first saw the trailer but seeing it in motion has swayed my point of view.

This game looks really neat. I'll definitely pick it up on Steam at some point.

@paulunga: I think the current generation isn't as patient as older gamers. I am speaking more to them.

I'll give it another look when it's more polished, but right now nothing about it stands out.

This game looks amazing. Also, I love that this is "Pulling a Brad: The Quicklook"

Totally Pid Totally Party!

I wasn't very interested in this game at first, but hearing the music and seeing it played... Some of the odd things like the MOTHBLOX.. haha.. Looks entertaining enough! Jump in. Go forward.. Kinda Osmos sorta chilled back feel, even though both games as games are completely different.

Looks cool, not my type of game, but the mechanics look solid. Rayman Origins has made me realise I'm probably not that cut out for intense platformers anymore.

watched ten seconds of the game and already determined that i hate the mechanics of it. Definite pass.

I am IN. This game looks fantastic. Even without the Rearmed pedigree behind it the game looks tight.

Gotta love a platformer that combines tough, fun mechanics with capable enemies that aren't afraid to kick your teeth in.

I wasn't really feeling this when the trailer was debuted. After this Quick Look, I'm kind of interested. As long as it remains challenging.

Love the graphics in this game. Almost looks like stop motion animation, like moving painted blocks.

I assume this is Xbox only? Seeing how it looks awesome and all. Want it on my PS3.

It's definitely neat seeing a video game before all the usual necessary bullshit is put in. I can see why it needs like, some threadbare explanation of why the kid can throw gravity beams. And a plot intro with a macguffin to give you a reason to get through the stages. Also, I'm a little curious why constellations are the currency.

That beam and jump interaction is so versatile. It leans heavily towards execution over puzzle solving, which I guess is a lot like Bionic Commando.

Reminds me of how Rainbow Islands was not really the same kind of game as Bubble Bobble, but still shared some gameplay with it.

Wow. Look pretty awesome. But at the same time hard as hell! Great art style too. Loving it.

I do have ad-blocker, but I assume almost everyone uses it. :/

Same, i remember when dead island was being promoted and getting annoyed to the point of not watching videos when they showed the same promo over and over, but chromes ad block fixed that problem and once I got a premium subscription the problem went away completely. It is def worth the five bucks a month if you are going to be taking in the content as regularly as I do.

Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 was a good game, and it was cool that you could play all of it without jumping despite that they added it in.

I wasn't interested in this after I saw the reveal but I'm warming up to it.

Puzzle platformers have a lot more variety than military shooters. The reason why shooters (specifically military) are overplayed to me is because the variety between individual shooters is not a lot, whereas for platformers I often feel like I am playing a different game. Not saying everyone should think this way though. Everyone has their own entertainment preference and there are plenty of people that can tell me how "different" one shooter is from another.

I have never seen an advertisement before a Giantbomb video and I do not use an ad blocker on the site. Are you in a different country than the USA? I am not sure why you would see advertisements but I wouldn't.

@Lurkero: I have no idea why I'm getting ads, but it's still happening! I watch quick looks several times a week and have never had it happen before. It's the same AXE ad (Susan fucking Glenn over and over!) before every single quick look video. I even went back into the archives and I'm getting the same ad playing in the video player. Is it possibly a new addition for non-premium folks? I've never had to watch an ad here before though...

At any rate, just thought it was kind of hilarious/annoying given the guys talking in the podcast this week about how much Hulu sucks b/c of repetitive ads, and then the very same day I listen to the podcast the exact same thing is happening to me here. It can't just be me can it? I'm using firefox, I live in NY and have never once seen a video ad on the site before yesterday.

Ah! But you see, Brad, your block is not paranoia. Your mental malady, so to speak, when it comes to trying things in games, is avoidance. You assume that something will not work without fully thinking out the problem or with a pessimistic view as to a potential solution's viability. It is at this point that you make the leap in logic to deciding the solution in question will not work. But you don't test. You don't try. You fear failure so much it clouds your judgement. You inflate the potential loss associated with failure despite the fact that most games, especially modern ones, are designed specifically for the player to rest easy in trying things as sanction for a failure is usually only a matter of seconds or at worst a handful of minutes of progress lost.

@Brad It does look flat but it is in the same style as Team Fortress 2.
