Oh dear god. I thought the Sonic QL was a low-point today...

I had to review this game for the site I write for, needless to say it is a horrible game, so bad. I'm never getting those 5 hours of my life back and this video is sure to bring back the painfull memories that was Battleship, but I feel even more sad for the devs that had to make this mess.

Uh oh, can't wait to see how this turns out!

You can move Battleships around the map, and watch it happen in the background, which is legitimately cool, but the rest is just trying to imitate Call of Duty and Halo, which they fail horribly at, the aiming is shit, the graphics are shit, the "story" is shit, there aren't even any characters in the game.. The entire game is spend walking from one checkpoint to the next, to plant a charge and blow stuff up, and the levels are so mindbogglingly narrow (invisible walls EVERYWHERE). The game is just bad, not even stupid, funny bad, just regular bad... ugh, I'm not sure the horribleness will show up on video, but trust me, it is there.

Got the free ticket. I'm not going to watch this fucking movie. But thanks.

Edit: I gave the ticket to my sister, so I'm not a total dick. Just a little bit of a dick.

Thank god something that isn't Diablo. I'm not hating on the game I just feel like anyone who cares, and most who don't, already know what the fuck that is already.

CHEAP Battle Field 3 clone.

I was wondering if this was what Ryan was flabbergasted about last night.

So I played and beat this game in about 3 hours yesterday afternoon. It isn't as terrible as I expected and I enjoyed the brief time I spent with it. It isn't a good game by any stretch but the Battle Commander stuff gets kind of cool during the end when shit gets crazy. The shooting is just ok but functional.

In any event this game is most certainly better than next week's Men In Black game. The demo for that was borderline unplayable. This one was at least playable and it was even beatable. A person could do much worse for a dollar rental from a Redbox. True you could get a better game but again, you could do much worse.

Edit: This is one of those games that screams for Jeff to play it.

I can actually see a concept like this being entertaining for something like Wii U - cooperative play with one player controlling the battle ships and providing support on the tablet, while the other is playing a shooter on the beach. Interesting stuff.

To be honest this doesn't look that bad and I don't get why Ryan and Patrick had to start shitting on the game right away when they started playing it.

This looks boring as fuck dude. The BatCom (DON'T CALL YOUR GAME THIGN THAT, JESUS IS THAT DUMB) stuff is clearly way too simple to be engaging, the combat looks bad, the military gear looks like a high schooler modeled and textured it, and the level design doesn't even give the illusion of complexity or anything put pure linearity.

Hey this doesn't look that bad actually!

The alien designs are horrible, but yeah, looks like there are some decent ideas here that I hope make their way into better games.

Who in marketing thought that this game was a good idea? They must know that the tie will sell a certain amount no matter how junky it is. Still, the game is rated T, which seems a bit high for the market they are trying to reach. Still, to me, this is an incredibly bizarre choice.

Also, somebody beat me to the movie cash. Damn...

Oh man if something like this was in like Battlefield that would cool.

But I'd settle for it in Call of Duty,,, in fact I could see something like this in Black Ops II
