Is using your itunes library a hassle like it was in audiosurf?

Played the demo and it was just alright.  
After a few tracks, I can't really feel how the song is affecting the game play differently in each track. Sure, when the song is slow, you don't shoot much, but that's just annoying as you just wait (to get a multiplier) since there won't be much enemies too.
The lights flash with the beat, but  the visuals get so crazy so quick it makes what's happening with the visual seem irrelevant to the song . You're no better off then playing a good dual shooter and playing your own nice music in the background.
 It's a fine game, but demo it first.

I would so want to watch someone play a Bombcast in this game. As they suggested.

My goodness. I can only imagine what the game would look like if you were playing some As Blood Runs Black or Carnifex. In fact I'm going to try that later today.

My volume is great even when i am not in beat hazard mode. 
 
And you can fly over bosses without dying btw. :)

I must say, I really, really hate this game, and think that whoever designed this game needs to learn a thing or two about game design. And get someone else to do the graphics if he can't draw.
 
Audiosurf is leagues better in all aspects.

Bought after a friend reminded me about it. I like it much more than Audiosurf personally, although that's another whole kind of your-music-is-the-game game. Lovin' it so far but wish there were more variety to the boss' guns and ships.

hmmmm, thought about putting some Aphex Twin through this game... and it might just break the game into tiny pieces.

I quite enjoy what I've played of Beat Hazard. I'd play it more often but it's getting into finals week.

This game is just as good on the 360 btw i picked it up a couple weeks ago and yes it supports any music that you rip to the 360 hd and also comes with 10 songs pre loaded and i believe it was only 400 ms points not sure what steam wants for it but i saw somebody said it was 10 bucks instead of the 5 for 360.

I have this game for Xbox 360 and I would suggest getting it for that. You can use music on your hard drive and from your PC if you have your 360 hooked up to your PC's media. And it is also 5 bucks instead of 10 bucks. The only difference I see is that "Insane Difficulty." The Xbox360 version only has Easy, Normal, and Hard I believe. Either way it is a fun game, techno/hip hop/rock are all good songs to play for crazy visual feed back.

Got elite and unlocked insane difficulty last night with this game. Its so awesome.

I played the demo and just when I wanted to play chop suey i reached the 10 tracks limit, I was pissed :D. it has a seizure warning at the start .

Holy crap. 

First thing I thought was that the Impact fontage is a bit ick. The rest looks cool and with some tweaking the next iteration could be something pretty stellar.

This game is rather intense when played to Anaal Nathrakh, Cattle Decapitation, or Strapping Young Lad...

Remember guys, this game was produced by TWO PEOPLE, so patching isn't exactly quick, but there's already a long list of features that are goign to be added.  Just check the dev site for the list.

Looks like it plays way better with the mouse.
 @august:   More precise aiming seems better for me on this,  movement is fine for me with wasd.
 
My keyboard has 'Anti-Ghosting' on the wasd keys.  I don't know if its a placebo. For counter strike and  beat hazard I t feels more free moving.

Playing survival mode with any Rammstein album is awesome. Also, Sasha's Involver and Art Of Trance are good too.
