Looks like an old shooter from '00-ish, with some half-assed surface shaders slapped on the environment. The sounds are plain awful.

where did he say that?  he just said games like COD4 really showed that shooters do work on consoles.  he never said if you're serious about FPS you use a gamepad, you made that part up.

I like to think of it like this; Call of Duty is a really well-made cheese & tomato pizza; yeah it's pretty damn good, but it's also completely unremarkable in every way. This is just kind of an average cheese & tomato pizza.

Welcome to the USA,  Canada and some parts of Europe, where we like to shoot people in the face. if you want innovation or something different you could try the indie circuit or steam. here il get you started. Uplink check it out.

The first match is pretty great in terms of a 1 on 1. I usually don't like such small matches, but it had a really great feeling of "the hunt", most likely because it doesn't take 3 hits to kill you. 
 
It looks like he's limping.

This shows that first person shooters are dead for sure...Black ops got boring as hell in a couple weeks and nothing else has come even close to hold my interest. Lets get original and come out with different genres please...

@pwnmachine:  Competely agree with you. The PC version is just better in every way. It's alot more prettier and destructions are much more detailed more visible, and of course mouse and keyboard. 
 
Call of duty 4 and Halo just made controllers acceptable for playing FPS on consoles but mouse and keyboard is still just better.

I am a real gun owner who goes to the range quite often.  I can say the feeling of moving my hand instead of just my thumb does indeed feel more realistic to me.  That being said, I know Jeff seems to think that playing FPS's on the PC is as he says "crazy" anymore.  You can never get the precision of the mouse to me with just a thumbstick.  And I dont mean auto targeting crap that console players have for their handicap.
