I understand, but it's not the competitive part I have issues with, because I play my share of CODs ,BFs , Bioshock2 or  Killzone 2 regularly-so I don't mind the competition. And I don't have a problem with this game using unlockables and leaderboards. But I expect those things being used only in multiplayer, not in single player campaign.
And another thing: even if this game provided some excuse of a story, it's a shame that it's so linear, given the various ways in which you could kill those guys, especially when using the environment, because I would've liked to play  a "Just Cause 2" style of an FPS game. Hell, even games like "Far Cry 2" or "Borderlands" provided an open world to play in, even though the kills were less spectacular.
But that's just my opinion.

I was not proud of myself, but I loved this demo.  Side note: I got a "Sadist" kill for doing something like catching a guy with the flail, letting him writhe around for a while, then either shot or kicked him in the balls and detonated the flail after that.
 
My first impression was like this is a game that seems like it was scripted by a fourth grader after he learned every curse word at once, therefore coming up with insults like "dick-tits."  But I get it now, it's not about being "in-your-face" as much as it is just being incredibly stupid and fun at the same time.  I'm gonna play it again now.

A lot of haters in the comments, I guess most of these people came from the call of duty emblems page.  
 
As for me this game looks fucking awesome and I would definitely spend the full 60 on this than any other FPS this year.

I won't lie. It was annoying because the Rear-Entry skill shot is so easy. Just stop zooming in so much.

@dcgc:  This really feels like what gears of war would have been if Duke Forever had been released 15 years ago, it has a similar humor, mighty boot and some very interesting weapons. As much as I enjoyed Borderlands, I would love to see what People Can Fly would be able to do with the Duke license...
