The single player in Black Ops is quickly making up for the mess I thought Modern Warfare 2 was.

Do you think it is worth buying? Jeff said something that stuck with me about leveling up your desired path of weaponry and feel "done" with the progression of multiplayer.

To me the most interesting thing about Black Ops. is the terminal stuff.

I wonder what the time is on all the exclusive COD maps for Xbox 360? A month? 6 months? A Year?

i would have liked the bot multiplayer in more games.  especially if it got you achievements without having to play with assholes.

The "One in the Chamber" match on Nuketown was pretty intense. Even better that Jeff won. And a test explosion too. Nice.
 
Pretty psyched about bots. Ever since Perfect Dark I prefer the option for computer opponents. It would be nice to play some multiplayer and unlock stuff without the slime usually associated with online play. I found it bearable with Modern Warfare 2, but to have the choice to skip all that is nice.

The game takes liberties but one could argue that these guys are using prototype stuff.  The fact that there are G11's, China Lakes, and that the dude reloads a LAW are much more strange than the m203 9 years before it was in service. "

I just played through Black Ops. I liked the story a lot more than the first game, even if I did see the big twist coming pretty early on.  

Only have two issues: 1: Blockbusters send me the PS3 version instead of the 360 version. 2: The unlock codes for the zombie maps don't work. 
 
I wonder if it's a temporary thing with the codes or if I'm just screwed...

I do need to see this....I keep going to steam, checking out user reviews at amazon,etc. I want this, but 60.00 for a Pc game...

I feel the need to explain that low flying plane in the Hong Kong level. Before the late 1990s the main airport of Hong Kong was in the center of the city. Due to this and a lack of zoning laws allowing multi-story buildings near the airport it was very common for landing planes to fly very close to rooftops even causing several incidents for aircraft. Eventually near the time of the handover of Hong Kong from Britain to China a new airport was constructed on a nearby island. A number of innovations in bridge building, island expansion, and weather protection were made in the process of the construction. 
 
I went on a complete tangent there but long story short: good job on Treyarch for knowing that bit of Hong Kong history and putting it in the game.

More like a long look.

Treyarch seems to have packed a lot of game into this game.  Good on them.

The M16 was designed in '57 and produced from '60 so I don't se any problem with that. And it was a semi- and full-auto rifle. Granted the M203 was 6years too early. "

Wow.. At one point in the beginning of this quick look where Jeff goes through the SP Campaign, there's a part where Woods is shooting enemy AI while Jeff(Alex) is shooting enemy AI standing almost next to Woods to his right, this is the part when they're in that house going through it. The "follow" arrow was in front off Jeff(Alex), but still there were enemys passing and "ignoring" Woods and attacking Jeff(Alex)..
