It actually looks more fun as a PSP game, with the short levels, loads of user-created content, and a way to throw something together while you've got some time to kill, having it on a portable seems like how it should have been all along. The only real problem is that the two platforms aren't going to share assets or content, something that really would have worked in both games' ...
Battlefield: Red Faction.
Dude was wearing a sweet Magnum PI shirt.
Where is the new T&C Surf and Skate game? And was that Gleaming the Cube footage I saw? I guess they didn't think a 35 year old, 250 lb guy that's 6' 3" with size 13 feet would be playing it when they designed the board. Does Jeff actually know how to skate? I'd like to see how someone that can skate thinks the game plays, just to see if ...
Ugh, that constant scrolling was nauseating. They should have pulled back from the table and maybe not made it a top-down perspective. Something more isometric like how you would look at a table in real life. Ironically the PSP is both the best platform with it's wide screen for flipped view, but awful in horizontal. And of course the fact that it's worse on the Go - even though it's ...
Activision knows it's money maker for the year came out last week, so games like Ride and GH:VH are getting on shelves with nobody knowing a fucking thing about them.
Walk with me through this green screen set while I pretend to know about this washed-up series only douchebags enjoy.
Who makes a Miracle Warriors quiz? And why would said person post it to this game? I'm one of the 3 people that actually played that game, and I don't even know how you could think of more than 3 questions. Fucking madness!!! BTW, I saw "Press Your Luck" at the store the other day. Time for the QL of that to complete the game show series.
Typical Bandai game based on a property, they put great content in a lousy game. I thought when they bought Namco we would finally get good games since it was a big step up from Banpresto, it turns out they are just as bad, even worse in some cases. It just proves that half-assing a game with a built-in audience that will buy it anyway isn't limited to movie games. ...
I used to play the arcade Play Choice 10 at the pizza place all the time. Such a simple little game that is addicting as hell. It looks like a nice upgrade to the classic, but with the VC one at 1/2 the price, I don't know if it's enough of an upgrade. Plus like most games from that era, after about 5 minutes, you're pretty much good for another ...
It looks like the successor to Carbon in a weird way. Aside from the almost offensive tutorial voiceover and dated stereotypes, it appears to be the best NFS since Carbon. I like the weird graffiti thing too, it looks like something that might have been part of Carbon if they made another in that series. I might pick it up after it gets cheap next year.
Shadow Company is a Lethal Weapon homage. It was the group that McAllister ran out of Laos, and later in LA. Riggs mentions them while he's being escorted back after the botched meet in the desert.
