I approve of this Quick Looks' intro

I need this game now. Great quick look and seems to be more dead space which I love. 

Space jeans protect you from the vacuum of space better then any air tight space suit ever could.

i will watch this entire game on someones youtube channel because I am too dam old to still jump from games. Dead Space 1 bought out the bitch in me when trying to play it in the dark with 5.1, too tense man! Love horror films and shit but the games are just too intense. SHAT MYSELF... just had to say it.

That train scene was intense!!! and I want to see zombies in wheel chairs.

Am I mistaken, or is like the first thing yous see in the first game Isaac's face?  I thought seeing him sans mask was no big deal.

Jesus Christ, I jumped. Never played the first one but I did get it during the Steam sale. This makes me want to play it and jump right into the the sequel. Looks awesome.

That train sequence was unbelievably good.

 @sofacitysweetheart: The hacking minigame is totally different from Arkham Asylum. It actually looks more like they got their inspiration from that one scene in Metropolis where the guy had to match the arms of a clock up to blinking numbers.

This looks totally incredible.

This made me laugh because I had the same issue with Resident Evil 5 and I now know I will have the same issue with Dead Space

best opening 30 seconds to a QL ever.

This made me install Dead Space 1. Still don't have money to buy 2 unfortunately.

best part is those raptor monster things get you an achievement "Clever Girl" :)
 
I'm on that part on Zealot difficulty...quit playing last night after dying 10 times.  1 hit deaths such.  What suit is he wearing?  I only picked up one schematic since that point and it was a Security suit.

Kind of bummed that you didn't show some of the multiplayer. Would have liked to see how diverse it was, the modes etc. Not that its gonna keep from buying the game, but still, would have been nice to see it in the QL :)

Bought this game on Steam and waiting for activation on Jan. 28th, I am currently in Europe so I won't get to play it until then. Looking forward to this awesome game.

Now everyone is going to do that when they first start playing DS2. This is why I love Giant Bomb hahaha

Brad has a copy of and has played the PS3 version and preferred it. The choice of the 360 version for this video was probably just chance.  He also states how he wants to check out the PC as the higher res would look so much better (but they rarely show those for multplatform quick-looks as the majority of people would likely get the game on consoles and it makes more sense to show the more widely played one).  If you're suggesting that the Xbox version is usually inferior though when compared with the PS3, then most multiplatform comparisons would beg to differ... I would kill to see an Uncharted Dead Space wherein you play as Nathan Drake fighting Necromorphs.

When Vinny said "I have no legs" I wonder if that was a reference to the 1995 film 'Kids'.

Doesn't look as scary as the first one. Just more spectacular.

Not sure how Brad is padding the single player out that long....I wasn't doing a speed run and it took me 7:20 to finish it. Awesome game though. 

Props for namedropping the Doom 2 Archvile. First thing I thought when I saw those birdies in the first game was "Aw.. gattem archviles! Gotta kill em first!"
