Am I the only one who's not getting any sound off of this video?

OMG the menu system is really well designed - or at leats looks - I hope for people who first turn the game on though the don't get too put off by a lack of udnerstandning of the main menu
 
P.S. the new site and video set-up on Giantbomb is really nice

Really like the new site layout but the new video stuff is doing my head in, quick looks just wont stream properly I don't know if its because its a location thing or the bandwidth but please 10 mins of buffering for a 30 seconds of video is not good enough.

This was an excellent quick look. You know why? Because they got a guy who is familiar with the game and has an interest in the series to show it off. Bravo to Drew and Vinny, great job.
 
Beats the hell out of watching the guys ignore a tutorial and then make disparaging jokes about problems that wouldn't exist if they'd taken a little while to get familiar with the game they're demonstrating first.

I'm glad that they've toned down the whole American Dudebro Awesome Yo attitude. The series is slowly making its way back to it glory when it was known as Colin McRae Rally.

Vinny & Drew - awesome as always.

Obviously Vinny was letting Drew win, but couldn't contain his mad skills completely and did the barrel roll like a pro. Maybe the best QL moment yet.

I always find myself having a hard time feeling engaged in most racing game, the only notorious one to win me over being Need For Speed: Most Wanted. Yet the Dirt series has always enthralled me with its style and aesthetics. Still, it's not about crazy police officers hunting street racers or some meanyhead stealing your ride... 
 
This looks like a fantastic game for all fans of heavy, bulky metal boxes on wheels going over 200 mph in to a immovable tree. Also, an apllaud for Drew showing us fools how you really play driving games.

Er, Drew mentioned a 'British guy' voiceover (when they're about to start the Gymkhana speed run), he's Australian!

Try the cockpit view, that'll get your front end of the car where it needs to be and it's alot easier too.

Yea cockpit mode is the only way to go! I do much worse not in cockpit mode especially in gt5

That racing line probably wouldn't be of much use to Vinny (or Jeff) when it comes to braking.

Dirt 3 Scrub League.

Anybody using the 360 Racing Wheel with DiRT 3? I borrowed one from a buddy and tried it last night. I have to say I was spectacularly disappointed. I need a better setup, but I'm doubtful that the wheel will provide a satisfactory experience. Any tips from fellow DiRTy drivers?

i can use a 360 controller to play this on the pc right?

A comment about the music, since they are a european developer, these are very popular european songs, particularly UK.  Dirt 2 did the exact same thing, times have just changed

Really impressive cockpit driving.  I kinda want this game even though my last big racing game was Burnout: Revenge or w/e on PS2.

Watching this has made me more pumped for a racing game than I ever knew I could be.

It's been a while since I bought a racing game but I'm getting this one, looks absolutely amazing.

i think im gonna pick this up on friday.

This game does good stuff with UI and customization options.

I never ever, thought anyone played from the cockpit view. Super impressive Drew.

This quicklook acctually makes me want to get this game and a gaming wheel, even after listening to the latest bombcast ^^

Codemasters are just on another level when it comes to the racing genre. They take the perfectionist attitude to new heights.

I really don't like the music, it's not to my taste but I can easily put my own music on so I guess it ain't that bad

Drew is damn good

It's funny. Drew says "it's not like Trackmania where you can drive upside down" ... 
 
But there's totally a pipe in Battersea that allows you to drive upside down XD
