been selling this game like crazy at  work just saw it when I came in one day haven't even heard anything about it may have to check it out.

Wow, dudes with great big glowing eyes who hunt a specific creature and also possess the ability to turn into said beast? Sounds a lot like Demon Hunters from Warcraft, they're just missing the dress and blindfold.

Its like they saw Dragon Age Origins and realized they wouldn't be able to do better so they just stopped development halfway through.

An RPG-enthusiast friend was trying to push this game on me recently, so I played the demo. Dave's sentiments mirror my own exactly. Terrible frame-rate and choppy animations, bad interface.

Wow Lvl 4 enemies can really pack a punch. Dave pretty much mirrors what I think when I watched this vid. Wasn't on my radar before, and it certainly isn't now.

Wow, this game looks horrible.

Dare i say its not totally aweful, just very rough around the edges. Played it until around level 15/16 and got the dragon skill. The story just wasn't gripping enough for me to play it any longer on the 360. It has some neat ideas, being about to mindread (at a cost of xp) is something new that adds a new dimension. Its not as accessable as most rpgs on consoles, you really need to do all the sidequests so that you high enough level tp proceed with the story. More than once i've hit a wall and had to find quests or enemies in order to grind to a suitable level. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, it meant i explored far more of the map while searching for stuff to do.

I can say that the PC version is leagues better than what is shown here, many things have been patched already. For me it is like 18 eruros on Steam, so considering the price it is quite worth it. There are lots of interesting choices to be made and many opportunities to be a complete dick to people.
 
They are right about it being pretty hard in the beginning (first 10 levels or so)

The PC version actually got some solid reviews. Most German outlets gave the PC version about an 8/10. But then again, Germans are RPG-nuts. Going crazy for stuff like Risen and Gothic.
 
Might pick it up from a bargain bin for PC - once I got an up to date gaming rig again.

I dun wanna be a conspiracy theorist but I think maybe someone duped this game into getting into the "most viewed" slide and now GB does a quicklook? Yall getting played like a banjo.

Man this game looks awful. I was hoping for a good action rpg with some depth. 
 
For anyone interested, go out and buy Sacred 2. It's infinitely better than this game. If you look it up you might read that they had some same save game issues, however those have all been patched now. It won't have an amazingly deep story, however it has a level 200 cap and tons and tons of loot. 

well at least it kinda looks pretty when you stand still. Other than that this game looks like a frustrating mess.

You know I have to say for some Bizarre reason I really enjoyed Risen so I might give the PC version a go but if it is anything like the 360 version something tells me I will uninstall the demo pretty quickly.

I returned with relief to Neverwinter Nights. The first one. And I've disliked that game.
