What's up, you just don't like the general look of avatars? Mine has a Captain Smiley helmet and Crackdown suit so he's pretty cool. The "if only" makes it seem like avatars are a deal breaker or something, lol.

Nah, the avatars are cool. I meant that it would have been cooler if this was a proper game released on multiple platforms instead of a XBOX exclusive that looks like you're playing an advertisement.

Is it so bad to give in to buying coins for a game that is free? I mean its a well made game after all. It would be nice to give something back to the devs... Even though i bet it would go to doritos anyway

@ravelle: Then why even mention avatars in your other post? The start screen seems to be the only part that say doritos. These Doritos games are surprisingly ad free. I don't see how anyone could be bothered by it. Also, as someone with a 360, I don't mind it being exclusive.

I don't know about everybody else, but my buddy and I were 100% bummed that we couldn't play through the campaign together in multiplayer. You can only earn stars, which are needed to unlock stuff/make progress, in 1P mode. Alas. She's never going to play it by herself, and she's not going to be interested in racing me in levels I've already mastered. Which means I'll just have to play it alone, forever, or else online with you lot, which is all well and good, but it ain't the same.

It's a solid entry in an oddly great franchise, and I'm ecstatic that it's FREE, and of course I'll probably 100% it like I did the first one, but the limited multiplayer is a tremendous bummer. I love when she and I can beat a game together.

Have either of you ever played Crash Course? The game can get ridiculously hard. I've definitely spent longer than them on certain segments. I am really bad at games myself, but I wouldn't call the first game easy by any stretch of the imagination, so unless this one has changed quite a bit I assume it is also hard.

Also, I liked how the game literally had an icon to hold right trigger to run in the very first race but it took a tooltip in the loading screen before they realized.
