I remember my friend being real into this games but I never seen the appeal. I'm a big anime fan and have never got into DragonBall Z and being a fighting game fan, I found the fighting mechanics to be not great

Man, I played the hell out of the Budokai 3 on my PS2. When that loading screen and intro hit, a flood (not really) of memories and nostalgia came pouring.

Great video guys. I enjoyed both of these games quite a bit around their release. One of the best parts in the first game is that mode where you play as Mr. Satan in the Cell Games and you get to hear his inner monologue as he talks a bunch of shit at his opponents. The third game is my favorite and I think I still have my PS2 copy. I remember liking the music in Budokai 3 so it's a real shame that they replaced it with this crap. If there was one thing I'd change about this DBZB trilogy of games it would be to make the energy blasts cause sick explosions when they hit the ground or the environment. Sure the super attacks looked pretty great but all the regular Ki blasts and special moves just kind of fizzle out when they hit the ground or the environment. Keep up the great work.

I DON'T KNOW WHY I WATCHED THIS LENGTHY VIDEO EITHER, RYAN DAVIS.

I would totally play a game with Budokai 1's storytelling (with the announcer and such) and Budokai 3's fighting system.

That's Mr. Po Po. He was sort of Kami's bodyguard/caretaker.

Budoka Tenkaichi 2 and 3 are the best DBZ games ever made.

I'm a child of the 90's and I still don't get why DBZ was a thing.
