What's tragic is that Warheads are still around, but they changed the formula so you only get two or three seconds of sour dust on a weirdly bland and gross hard candy.

This is true but its never safe for more than a few seconds. Open Adjacent doors that hold enemies, radiation seepage, airlock failure and debris bombardment can always happen right as you your ship links up to a1 r1 . At least that's how it was when I first played. The dev may have changed it though. Love this game, glad the single dev who worked on this was able to release it.

Game seems super cool, but i'm getting tired of percentages in video games, i know it adds a tactical layer or something to have % chance of things not working if their % is at a certain % unless you %%, but at some point i just want things to function when i tell them to function, and not spend materials managing the ever present %'s.
Maybe there's an easy mode to reduce that aspect of the game.

@cikame: there's a bunch of difficulty settings, yes, though I don't know if removing damage entirely is one of them.

Turns out videogames are still pretty cool. Looking forward to playing this someday.

Oh, when I had seen this previously I hadn't seen the command interface, and thought this was just the final release of Cryptark which there was an Unfinished of a few months ago. Seeing it played it does seem to offer quite a few neat things though. I may pick this up.

Find terminal on alien ship. Entire memory is filled with alien porn. Nothing but close up pics of alien cloaca and hemipene. Second folder labelled 'ovipositors'. Hmm....

This does seem pretty cool. And it's nice to see more command line driven games.

@soap: Glad I wasn't alone on this. Nowadays when I see one and they look similar I don't even bother watching it. Look Austin, we get it, you like games that are strategic and use your brain and what not, but for real stop showing them!

Or maybe you stop watching these? You said yourself how easy it is to tell what sort of video it will be so don't click. I had never heard of this game it looks right up my alley so I am glad they showcased it. You lose nothing by them doing videos of games you're not into.
