This is actually not a port of FIFA 13 but a shittier version of FIFA 12 and they're asking full price for it. It's pretty messed up. Fun quicklook so far nonetheless.

Man I'm not even the biggest football fan, yes it's called football and not soccer, but calling it soccerball even got me a bit annoyed. In other words good job on the video description, it worked as intended. :D

Ok, am I the only one who will actually commend them for trying some stuff with the touch screen here? I mean, there were pages of features using the touch screen and while they may not all be awesome, it is the first time trying. I can see now why they are using last year's game, it's because they actually put time in to trying stuff with the screen.

I was looking forward to seeing whether they bothered to add snow outside the stadium, which they never seem to do in the NFL games. Shame.

Sorry but I vote for the second, although a team is singular (in itself but plural in meaning).

Actually it's called Association Football. Soccer is short for that but you can call it Football, Soccer or Association Football. All are perfectly valid names.

As an Arsenal fan, this is a dream come true. Though Jeff pronouncing Santi Cazorla's name made my skin crawl.

First off, why were Jeff and Vinny trying to do the FSU Seminole War-chant for a soccer game? Its an American football chant! And two, that was the most soulless War-chant I've ever heard!

@Jeff @Vinny Should of done the Skill Games, it's a tutorial that teaches you how to play via mini games. Pretty fun.

And when you held the LT down you use the right stick to do tricks. Appreciate the quicklooks of all these sports games lately and Jeff really seemed to start getting the hang of it towards the end, plus at corners press x(360) button to cross the ball and a THROUGH BALL is like a pass that goes infront of the player so you can aim it infront of them so they can break though the defense easier not that you will probably play it again till FIFA 14 but thought I'd give some tips.

Also this versions framerate is terrible compared to Xbox\PS3

Just looking at all the ports out for the Wii U so far, all got bad framerate so far. I could be proved wrong but I don't see it happening. Wii was the same but that was more in line it being the power of a PS2\Xbox, this is a system apparently better than the 360\PS3 and every port has been pretty bad from what I have seen.

Isn't the point of the touch screen to make the game easier and more intuitive for newcomers to play? It seems like they did the opposite of that.

Surely a group can assume both singular and plural form, so "Arsenal has the ball" and "Arsenal have the ball" are both correct, really.

That said, in a battle of grammar between football commentators and Jeff Gerstmann (and myself, I guess), it's not a given who will come out on top.

Oh, and I won't be buying FIFA13 because my beloved Aston Villa will be awful on it. :(
