daemon is still pronounced the same as demon regardless of spelling. day-mon is the pronunciation of the ignorant who aren't aware of the use of the ae letter combination.

I prefer to think of the stages as circular with the audience as the donut hole and the stage being constantly updated by stagehands as the characters move forward. :D

@herbiebug: Or in the cases where it's a name like IGN's Daemon Hatfield, or a friend of mine named Naethan. Though that latter one is just the parent's being silly. Still, not an ignorant mispronunciation if it's the correct one in these (admittedly limited) cases.

Dragon's Crown probably spoiled brawlers for me forever. That game has so much in it plus the loot and bag system, skill trees, chaining dungeons, the random Labyrinth levels... How will I ever go back to running left to right and punching dudes?

@luketh: I'm curious if you guys started development before or after The Puppeteer was announced and if it was before was there an, "Oh shit" moment when you saw a big first party game aping your idea?

I always dig that Vinny find something to enjoy in just about anything, but this looks like a whole lot of style and not much substance.

Really like the theatre look to the foreground/background of the game, definitely will give this one a try.

This game has some pretty good dialogue, it's a shame Vinny was buttoning through it.
