I want to play this but I would probably just get frustrated with it. I would love to watch Vinny play some more of it, especially when he doesn't know what to expect.

@the_nubster: They get through the first chapter and some of the next. Vinny skips a lot of the dialogue so it doesn't spoil a lot of the story elements. I don't know anything about the game's length, so I can't say whether this is spoiling a lot of it or a little.

Thing is you have to let go and learn its ok to fail because you are going to alot. Its about looking carefully at details and figuring what has what effect on each person. I am on the 4th chapter right now and it is freaking hard.

I must be the only one who has absolutely no interest in these retro looking games. Are we so bored of great looking and playing games we need to revisit the NES days?

Man, I can't understand this point of view. You're welcome to it, of course, but I can't imagine looking at a video game and thinking "that art looks like it's from a previous era - that must mean the game is bad"

Hm, I must be misunderstanding or missing something, but why would you ever provoke? They just seem to always hit you when you do that, wouldn't that time be better used to "think" all the time?

When you provoke, only the guy who provokes takes damage, giving the other guy time to rest up. Thinking is a guaranteed hurt for both.

Also, beg is deceptive in how it works. It has the potential for really saving your butt with a combination of stalling and big heals.

Parts of it look cool, but the straight-up randomness combined with trial and error seem like they could be extremely frustrating and not satisfying. Finishing or failing a scenario because of the outcome of some 50-75% dice rolls does not sound like great gameplay.

Super fucking enjoyable Quick Look but I can't handle this shit. Also, favorite last 10 seconds for a Quick Look ever.

This looks about as enjoyable as taking one of those online training course quizzes that you can fail multiple times but it never tells you what you got right or wrong.

I like the idea to some extent, but it just doesn't look like my kind of game really, wish it was!

Yeah, I liked what I saw of this game up until the torture level. The idea of a turn-based "bad decision simulator" sounds good, but the torture scene, even if it's pixel art, is too much for me.

Are you the type of person that thought Spec Ops: The Line was super disturbing? I've never been able to detach myself from reality enough to be disturbed by a video game, there are a few scenes in movies and videos that genuinely made me feel uneasy or uncomfortable, the ankle breaking scene in Misery for example and there's a video out there of a realistic recreation of civil war surgery that had me queasy.

But video games just can't do that for me, especially not something that looks so far and removed from reality like this.

Personally I just don't like the trial and error sound of the game, that sort of gameplay loop has never appealed to me, I would rather it let me make my decisions and live with them, not give me a game over screen.

I'm with you on the more trial and error aspect of the game; not a big fan of that myself. I will say that, since you brought it up, Spec Ops did resonate with me but I think that was more due to even the loading screens mocking you as you got farther in.

"Do you feel like a hero yet?"

Not anymore I don't Spec Ops, not anymore
