This game needs some of this type of movement to stand and look at objects FPSimulation (Click on the Try It on the right hand panel)

The overall movement especially transitioning between still and moving is very buggy at the moment but this is a very early introduction to the idea.

Basic controls WASD apply for forward back and side strafe.

When standing still (not pressing WASD) the body does not follow but the head does. In this state, holding "f" makes the body rotate to point in direction and "e" freezes the head i.e. only the eyes are moved by the mouse.

Note: Be prepared for low end website first....

What was the other game that Giantbomb quick looked that was basically the same game as this? I remember I think Patrick doing the quick look, it was another game about exploring an empty home.

I think I just ruined Brad for myself. I cannot not notice every time he says "you know." I'm not complaining by the way, so don't beat me, please.

Looks fantastic. Stopped watching within the first couple minutes, just gonna pick this up and play through myself :D

Brad was a bit much for me in this Quick Look, he kind of kept gushing about the same things over and over.

Also, games can't set out to be actual games if they're going to have a story anymore? This game looks great, it looks like it uses its environment to tell a story extremely well, I love that sort of thing. I'm not complaining that this game isn't an "actual game" or anything, just kind of sick of games that have strong story elements having their gameplay held against them just because they also prioritised offering an enjoyable shooting/stealth/whatever experience.

My personal whine about typical game critic talk aside, this game looks super cool, I want to pick it up - I'm a little weary, though, given that I don't have a good PC and Brad was complaining about the performance on his own good/awesome PC.

For future PC first person QLs. Turn down the mouse sensitivity and buy a mouse who's sensor doesn't have jitter.

Wow, I am so excited for this game. I had no idea of its existence until now. I see that it needs to exist, should exist and I hope more games will come along that are like it.

This game better have some kind of crazy supernatural or scary plot twist. That first trailer made it seem like something was really off and that photo of the girl in the picture was haunting the house or was horribly killed and now the killer is hiding in that house.

Does Brad think that the viewing audience wants to hear him keep reiterating how it doesn't run as well on his computer at home? He's done this a few times, like the Sleeping Dogs quick look.

@loganwtf: They said $20 at the end. Which is, eh, for me since they said it was roughly a 4 hour game. I want it but that feels a little steep.

Plus, yeah, I'm worried that if their computers couldn't handle it too well, my rinky-dink laptop will burst into flames trying to open it.

Well, this game looks amazing. Fuck you guys for the spoilers though, goddamn. You say it's not a spoiler, yet the game has showed nothing but a vague hint that there would be that kind of narrative element there. I didn't know about the thing in question and I'm sure a lot of other people who are watching this had no clue about it either. Just saying, that is some serious fucking bullshit right there.
