Man I hope this is as good as Blizzards Justice League Task Force. But that's probably asking way too much.

I really like those background interactions. I'm not a fighting game guy, but it looks kinda fun.

That is some crazy hip action going on in that still.

I haven't understood the subway ads for this at all. They all have big text that says "WHAT IF OUR GREATEST HEROES BECAME OUR GREATEST THREAT?" but then show a super hero battling a super villain. Kind of feel like they're underselling it with that.

the story mode is actually a LOT more seamless than MK9, Jeff should go replay some of MK9's Story mode and see

Eh, dunno, Teen Titans, The Titans/New Titans, and the like had a decent number of rather good stories related to him, or about him, and in the TV show he wasn't.

Got this game early and gotta say I agree with Jeff about playing this game with an arcade stick: the finger gymnastics do get awkward. Glad it wasn't just me

Mortal Kombat 9 is my favorite fighting game this generation and I'm a fairly large fan of DC comics, so I'm pretty excited for this. I'm glad Jeff seems to think it's alright, I was worried his distaste for comic book characters would make him look down on it all.

Man Midway cannot do animation right. At least MK 1, 2 and 3 had real characters, now it's just sad to play.

Such a shame that I didnt like the fighting system and slight sluggishness from characters when I played the demo, I was all ready to get myself a copy of this because I love the look of everything in it.

I expect I'll probably get it eventually just so I can play the story mode.

This game looks so great.

i love everything about how this game looks except for the fact it's DC. I might still pick it up though, wasn't expecting it to look this good. can't wait for MK10

It looks like there's borrowed art assets from Arkham Asylum and Arkham City for some parts of the game (the mini-story campaign, Arkham Asylum level, of course), is that correct? I haven't followed the development of this game at all.

I was on the fence about getting this, but I really liked the last MK game, and watching this was the final nudge I needed.

Damn Amazon giving me slow shipping. Now I have to avoid spoilers until I get it. Meaning I won't be watching this quick look. :(

Not liking those health bars at all. Combined with the always crappy animation from Netherrealm studios I don't really get the appeal that MK9 had/has.

this video like many on giantbomb keeps pausing or just stop all together. It happens on my mac with safari browser firefox or google chrome. I am now trying to watch this at lunch at work on new set up windows 7 machine. Again it stops on whatever browser i use. I would not mind but I pay a subscription this has been going on for quite some time
