I cannot see anything in this video.

Here's a thought... The main character's surprised "she disappeared before killing me" implies that he knows exactly what will happen if the spooky ghost lady catches up with him. Seems obvious to us, but that's just because we watched it happen several times in rapid succession after her reveal. The only explanation is that the main character remembers what happened when you load a checkpoint after dying!

That, or the writing in this game is just really good.

I feel like in a bad episode of Twilight Zone.
Dan is barely funny, yet everyone seems to like his QL's...

The idea of this game seems better than the result. Not sure what to think of it.

It's like they took Gone Home, and pushed the "Game" slider up, but then pulled the "Quality" slider down.

Judging by the kids on the developer's about page I'm going to say there's nothing ironic or intentional about how bad this game is. Just a whole of inexperience and misplaced nostalgia.

...it makes me feel I've awakened from the Jurassic whenever I hear "...oooh, Resident Evil camera angles..." when they really mean AitD (which came out 4 years before RE)...

I didn't watch the whole thing, but was anyone else slightly reminded of the old Friday The 13th games? More so the C64, but I guess kinda the NES one too.

I would love to see an endurance run of this.

I can't tell if I'm charmed or repulsed by this game, or if it's some weird hybrid of the two. I sort of want to play it now?

As someone who fucking LOOOOVES old-school survival horror games, I was excited when I found out what this game was when I started this QL. I was hoping someone would take up the reigns of this genre. That excitement quickly turned disappointment when it became apparent that this game looks really terrible in a way even I can't get behind. That run speed, though....i find it hilarious.

I appreciate Dan taking a moment to set the brightness in the way that the game suggested. It's a small touch, but it's important for a horror game.

I'll admit that the first time what's her face started running I was spooked a little. The third time? Not so much.

Why does she stop chasing you and let you live in one section, only to catch and instantly kill you in another? What the hell?
