Everybody does QLs regardless of their job a Giantbomb. I love that. No one is typecast and bored of their job that way.

I love everyone at GB for different reasons, and they all complement each other. I really don't understand this weird sibling style jealousy that all these people have with Patrick. Get over it and give the guy a break.

I hate to be that guy but is there any reason this isn't a Flash game? Games like Bastion and Sworcery justify their price and I'm pretty sure you can get those for cheaper at this point. I completely get that the lack of production is part of the style of the game, but being self-aware doesn't mean your game is somehow worth more.

This would be a lot more attractive as a $1 - $3 iPhone game.

@Pozo: If you read my later post I think I did a better job, I took a second to think why it was irritating me. Like I said I loved him on the Endurance Run (and a lot of other video and audio content) and that was a lot of videos EVERY DAY. So I do not 'hate' Patrick. I thought he was brilliant well before Giant Bomb and so I took a second to think about why I reacted so flippantly.

I think my later comment was more balanced, you might not agree with it and that's fine.

But, don't tell me to "say that you hate Patrick because he's the newest guy, or because he's too energetic for your taste, or maye because he reminds you of someone's little brother" because telling somebody what to do isn't very cool dude.

I do think that my initial comment wasn't very cool either so I do understand your venomous reply...

Might be a surprise to some that this game came out of Ludum Dare's 21st 48h game competition.

This looks super dumb in the most amazing way. I tried out the demo a while back when Patrick mentioned it in a "Worth Reading", and it was fun. Seems like it could be ported to touch devices pretty easily too, and I think folks would be into that.

This costs money?

Personally I interpreted his comment as meaning that he prefers Patrick in a news role rather than a video role. I personally prefer Patrick on the podcast than in his videos, or in his news articles over his editorials.

People like people for different reasons and also differ in what they believe people excel at. I doubt it was meant to be meanspirited.

I had to google what that one meant, and it confirmed my suspicions. Thanks for teaching me a new word! Would've probably been nicer to learn it in a different way than being called one but I take what I can get.

Anyway game looked cool, but there's still so may games that came out in the last year that I'm saving for that an interest in these smaller downloadable games would put a dent in my savings for....

This just seems like something that I can play on Newgrounds for free.

@BaconGames: I think Patrick said that mostly for the comparison, not that it was literally based on that. Doesn't look like there's any direct references at least.

@Kevino13 if you look up the skit, MacGruber, it entails dude being put into bomb defusal scenarios all the time and ostensibly failing for what are untended to be funny reasons. I'm pretty sure they wear the same color jacket and the fact that it's called McPixel leads me to my conclusion.
