Quick Look: Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes

Bad art design (looks Deviant Art quality), considering the bang-up job Capy did with Critter Crunch.  The game itself was really fun, judging from the demo.  I'll just wait for the inevitable XBLA deal of the week sale for this game.

The DS game is one of my favorite games of all time.  Just a really great addictive puzzle game.  An absolute must play for puzzle fans.

Bought the game based on the QuickLook. WIN!

Looks pretty great.  I wish the production values on the characters were a bit higher, but the battles are where it's at.  I look forward to playing this in half a year once I finish with Puzzle Quest. ;)

FUCK YEA BEARS

I bought it on Tuesday and have already put about 10 hours into it. I loved Critter Crunch and Money Puzzler Exchanger (thanks to Ryan playing it on TNT; I was addicted for the next three days), so it's no surprise how much I like this game. 

This just makes me want to go and install Heroes of Might & Magic 3.

I've wanted this since it came out on DS, but never committed to picking it up and it eventually disappeared from stores.

These guys are great fun to listen to.  They had me lol'ing.
I'm having a blast with this game too.

this is really great. 

I like how Ryan tackles the less obvious entertaining games and gives them a shot.

The mechanics in this seems cool, the trappings do not. 

I play PC games on my PC.  Sometimes they're exclusive, sometimes they're superior versions of console titles.And I download all my PC games, but that doesn't mean I don't buy them as you seem to be suggesting by using the word "instead".   Believe it or not, there are services that allow you to purchase games and download them to your computer.  They're actually quite popular. "

I know it's the most superficial thing to comment about, but what's up with the character portraits? Deviantart amateur hour? No offence, but surely a game with a budget that's enough to reach for XBLA title should at least have illustrations that are one step beyond rought sketches.

I really like the anime art style. For this type of RPG-puzzle game it's more fitting than the usual Might and  Magic style.

Great video!  Tried out the demo and really liked this game, figured I would buy this and play this afternoon while idling on steam to push Portal 2 out faster (kind of disappointed with how that is going btw), but I can't buy it when PSN gives me an error every time I try.  Way to go, Sony, if only they could have put a Blu-ray in the 360 slim, the PS3 would probably be up for sale.

Are you like many who suffer from FPS fatigue?  Give this a look, you'll find it's bound to stimulate something other than your trigger finger (no, not that).  Easy to pick up, hard to put down, this will keep you playing longer than some RPGs.

This is a remarkably dense game, took me 30 hours to 100% the campaign. Online play doubles the playable characters, each of which have their own special abilities. Get the word out, great game!

Bummer opening? It's the exact same as for every game or book or whatever in this genre aimed at teens.

This was on sale when I bought it and super glad I did, game is fantastic.
