I stopped playing Minecraft a long time ago, but I think I might go back to it and check it out, see what updates are on now.

Minecraft is the greatest couch fort simulator ever! The best part is you don't have to imagine that there are monsters or pretend the floor is made of lava...

Minecraft is officially better on 360. Any game that forces you to use the internet or ask people to learn basic functions is not worth it. The missing features like hunger are more than made up for by not forcing you to use a faq. It's also why Terraria is better as well.

I think I'd have more fun watching someone play than actually playing myself.

Looks like a really old version of the game compared to the PC version. Love to see this on the next TNT though.

The return of the old player that doesen't allow skipping ahead if you didn't manage to watch the video in one go. And that starts at the very beginning when you switch resolutions. I am disappoint.

If the lave hits running water it creates obsidian which you can use to make portals to the netherworld!

Edit: Also, the world for the 360 is only 1000x1000 blocks, and not procedurally generated like the PC version. I just went from a buy to "maybe wait for update?"

You guys should do way more mine craft quick looks. This one was great but I think there's a lot more potential for the Giant Mine Bombing Craft videos. Also, destroy more of brads stuff.

This is one of my favorite QLs. Be cool if you guys did weekly/monthly minecraft QLs.

i want to see a minecraft video where they play the real game instead of tis xbox demo version, and acknowledge the community instead of ignore it and possibly come on the GB server and check out the 1:1 scale giantbomb logo

Only ever played a tiny bit on PC; but this looks a little like Minecraft for Dummies, which is probably the version I'd enjoy more. Or maybe I'd just like it more watching other people play.

What I always really wanted for my Minecraft experience to feel... more fulfilling, is to have dungeons. Like some wacky, random generated dungeon filled with elaborate traps, monster closets and whatnot. Maybe also some "real" loot system of any kind, too. Just to give me some practical reason to "seek out new lands and travel where no miner has gone before".

While I did play Minecraft from the early alpha stages and have enjoyed it from time to time, I do (sooner or later) just run into a wall of pointlessness. The addictive "just one block more" just doesn't work, the one-trick-pony of it just runs out of breath for me. To be fair, this is still being build upon, maybe some really cool stuff will be added in the future.

Brad's house is dope.

I don't care for Mindcraft because I don't want to build castles. I want something modern with current deco.
