My problem with that game is the combat just looks so slow ... I don't see how any of them had studied martial arts because combat is a lot faster and the thud thud of the combat seems so slow compared to other games. Hell look at a combat in mortal kombat 3 or something or killer instinct the hits come quick and fast, whereas in absolver it is deliberately slow and it just seems like a weird idea for a martial arts game.

I love the style of this game. I personally can't wait for the new blade runner and think this cyberpunk aesthetic is great. I had a very strange thing happen in the house I was staying the day I watched the original movie so it will always be memorable for that reason alone but the new movie looks spectacular.

Lots of games coming out right now ... surprising this time of year.

I would absolutely watch a playthrough of this game; I don't think I could play it myself though.

If that's a European keyboard layout i must have been getting the wrong boards since the 80's.

I beat this last week, and I'm so glad GB covered it. It needs more attention. There's almost no gameplay, but the visuals and way it tells its story is next to none. It loses steam near the end, but the journey is absolutely incredible if you take your time, explore, and just soak up the atmosphere.

Beat this on release and I'll say the only good parts of this game are Rutger Hauer and the cyber-punk atmosphere. A dull "psychological horror" game with no actual "psychological horror".

PC HDMI levels are back to limited.

Playing it on PS4 and while my initial impression of the game is good, the technical aspects leave a lot to be desired Though. The framerate is all over the place, and I am rarely a framerate is a big deal kind of guy. And the game has hard locked on me at least 3 times and I am very early. The voice acting is fun though, Hauer is really phoning it in and some of the people you talk to range from "I am taking this seriously" to "I am a talking cliché". But somehow I find it all endearing in a B-movie kind of way.

How many movies/Tv series does Dan "spoil" this time :)

I finished playing this game. My favorite part is how he pronounces his name, Lazarski.

This game looks great, like it *looks* amazing... and this quick look was funny as hell.

And, Dan, the line and circle on power switches are a 1 and a 0. 1 = on, 0 = off. And a circle with a line through it means it does both.

I loved this game, but big warning if you are on consoles it gets very framey. Also, this game is very much just walking around and looking at things and talking to doors. If you aren't into that then this may not be your jam.

Also, very minor spoiler/tip visit the third floor on your own because this game, as far as I can tell, won't give you a reason to go there. Idk what's there, but I wish I explored it.

Rutger Hauer always shows up in the places you least expect, in the weirdest projects.

Watching this game makes me feel sick. The aesthetic looks good, but there's something about the camera movement that really bothers me. Some sort of motion blur perhaps? Or maybe visual overload with all the stuff going on at once?

I remember jumping between QWERTY and QWERTZ with ctrl+shift but it does not seem to work on windows 10. Also that robot's vacuum cleaner is based on really old one made in Poland.
