Your statements are making huge generalizations about who they are. If you really still think this please state your case and show your abundance of evidence in the forums. @Doobie_Wop: Right, when Jeff keeps buying these obscure Japanese games for his own benefit, when he visited Japan to buy all sorts of stuff you can only find there like arcade sticks and such, the 5 stars he gave Street Fighter IV, the fact that he listed Persona 4 as one of his all-time favorite games, yup. Jeff really hates Japanese culture.

Also, I believe Ryan has a pretty extensive knowledge of anime (the older ones from the 70s and 80s), likes a fair amount of crazy Japanese games (like the Incredible Crisis quick look) and the fact that he and Vinny know so much about the Dragonball universe just proves that Ryan also hates everything Japanese. Yup, you're right. The fact that they've surrounded themselves with some Japanese culture in their games means they're just using it as something to make fun off. Yeah, you really know the GB staff all too well.

The game looks like garbage though, they go that much right . I just hate that it's being used a platform by the Giant Bomb community to continue their hate speech.

Will continue to watch, read and listen to Giant Bomb for Vinny and Patrick, the other children (besides Brad) should probably be toned down for a while.

I like that this came from someone with a racial slur in their name, the irony is almost too much. Plus, no need to get all butt hurt...this game says nothing new about Japanese culture that tentacle rape hentai and teenage dating simulators haven't already.

Hey Dumpass how about you just the shut hell up. I have been on this site since it launched and as someone who does like to watch anime and read manga, I find your entire statement to be an insult to this site and it's community.

Jeff has had nothing but good things to say about fighting games (which last time I had checked started in Japan). As for Vinny he likes Dragonball Z, I don't like that show but hey whatever the fact he does.

And that I'm done with my piece. I loved this QL so great.

I think the main thing giving anime fans a bad name is the whole "being fans of anime" thing. If they could just knock that off, I'm sure they'd be all set.

Think of Japan and the first thing that comes into mind is anime cat girls with an obsession of showing their tits. Its a shame that Japanese culture has been overshadowed with this nonsense, its a great culture outside of Anime.

I love the quick look though, I don't think I would of watched it without the commentary of Jeff and Vinny.

One thing that always tickled my interest in this game is the unique arcade stick that was made especially for it. It has a built in screen which I thought was interesting.

Also, I think it's funny how people in this comment page, and even everywhere else, are quick to judge Japan just because of one niche game.

I, for one, am happy that shmups are alive in one form or another. Then again, this might be a good indication of how desperate I am for shmups.
