I know the parkour elements of prince of persia were never very grounded in reality to begin with, but how is it in anyway possible to run up a flat wall after you jump to it? That almost sounds like cheating.

I was gonna ask, does using the time rewinding power technically count as a "death"? The real challenge of the game is not needing to use that power.

Actually I only ever played the 08 reboot which I sold because I didn't like it. I did try the trial of PoP Classic on XBLA not my thing.

I actually don't mind the animations (though I have technically seen very little of them), but I'm with you on the character designs. That Prince (or at least his face) is ugly as sin and the rest of the characters that I've seen are only slightly better.

The only Pop I enjoyed was "Warrior Within". The rest I couldn't get into.

That was a very enjoyable Quick Look. I've only played two Prince of Persia games: The Sands of Time, which was great and the 2008 reboot. which I hated. The platforming looks cool, especially using the freeze water power, and the graphics look decent.

The only thing that bothers me is the way the Prince looks, almost as if he's half ape, half human. But, since I enjoyed the Sands of Time, I might consider buying this someday.
